Week 7 Fantasy Football Start 'Em Sit 'Em: Josh Freeman and More Must-Start QBs

Gabe ZaldivarOct 21, 2011

Josh Freeman is here to save your fantasy team from ruin. If he isn't on your team or available on the waiver wire, I have some other buddies you will want to target.

The quarterback position is one vital aspect of any fantasy team. Even a small drop in their usual production will have you on the wrong side of a fantasy blowout.

These next few guys will have no trouble producing exactly what you think they will. Here are Josh Freeman and some NFL arms that will be exactly what you think they are in Week 7, and that's remarkable.

1. Josh Freeman: Josh Freeman and the Buccaneers will enjoy facing what has been a markedly inconsistent Bears defense. Their secondary leaves a great deal to be desired, making the Bucs game plan simple—chuck the ball down the field.

I have every confidence that Freeman can duplicate the game he had against the Saints. This will be another great day for the Bucs and their wunderkind quarterback.

2. Tony Romo: There has hardly been a bigger hit-or-miss player in the league. This will be a game filled with all of his greatest hits on the year.

The Rams may have their biggest issues on offense, but their defense is hardly any better. The Cowboys will slice and ice their way to a win. A few of those touchdowns are sure to come at the benefit of Romo owners.

3. Colt McCoy: The Browns quarterback has been the epitome of consistency from a fantasy point of view. This is a great waiver wire solution if you want a quarterback that would never dream of harming your team.

The best part is the Browns have the Seahawks and their soft defense to exploit. Deep league owners with a bye week take notice, McCoy is your man.
