Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings: New York Jets and Defenses To Bench
When choosing a fantasy defense, one thing needs to be kept in mind: A good showing doesn't necessarily translate to a good fantasy day. Conversely, a defense can have an awful day, but a couple of picks will go a long way in showing up well in your matchup.
So, these defenses all carry some weight in the NFL. Still, I would steer clear of these units when setting your lineup.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I am a huge Darrelle Revis fan. Actually, there is very little about this defense that I dislike. But there are a few problems with playing them.
One, even though Philip Rivers has turned the ball over a little too much this year, he's still one of the best quarterbacks in the league and has plenty of weapons at his disposal.
In addition to that, the Jets offense is just abysmal. How does that hurt the defense? Well, if the Jets' defense is constantly on the field, and put in a spot where they're dealing with a short field, they will allow too many points.
Tennessee Titans
Look for this defense to trend upward with Andre Johnson out. I am still not convinced that this unit is worth a shot.
For one, with Arian Foster, the Texans will still have a great ground attack. Also, the group of Jacoby Jones, Kevin Walter and Owen Daniels is a formidable trio.
The Steelers torched the Titans defense two weeks ago. Even without Andre Johnson, I can't see the Titans doing much worse.
Detroit Lions
While we're on the subject, don't play the Falcons. I have the Lions winning this game, but I don't see their defense doing much to help the cause.
The Lions' defense is just pathetic against the run. There is no other way to put it. Michael Turner is a solid back, and the Falcons even have depth behind him.
So, while I am not saying the Falcons will win, I don't see the Lions defense doing much. This will be a game that is dominated by offense.
