Don't Fret New York Giants Fans
The New York Giants are going to be fine come playoff time, so don't fret loyal fans, we still have 11 wins. I gave the G Men a pass this week (although hard for me to do), because of the distraction that Plaxico Burress was and the inclement weather conditions which have haunted Eli's career since the beginning.
Although most of you will be worried about how the Eagles' defense dominated the game, I am not of that opinion. I believe the game was lost on dropped passes. Eli went 0-for on 3rd down and several of them were dropped passes, or balls the wind caught and threw to the ground. So, although the box score indicates the Giants' offense was stifled, I believe that is not the case

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
They will be fine come playoff time because they have faced some adversity and most are saying they showed some vulnerability on Sunday, something this team is more than used to. They used this notion of vulnerability last season to ride what most are calling the most impressive playoff run of all time, and I expect them to do nothing less this season.
While I don't fully expect them to repeat as Super Bowl Champions, I do think they can create havoc for all the other teams in the playoff picture, especially if they win two of their last three and clinch home field.
I know most of you are saying "well what about the weather in Giants Stadium," which is a valid point, but I believe Kevin Gilbride will learn from his mistakes in this past week's game and use those mistakes to create better game plans in the snow or wind. I believe if the Giants can manage to run the ball effectively and take the pressure off Eli in cold weather, they can manage to get back to the Super Bowl even if it means playing all their games in Giants Stadium
The one team that scares me if they manage to get in is the Dallas Cowboys. Being a Giants fan, I am fully aware of what happens when your team puts it all together come playoff time. I believe the Cowboys are a mirror image of the Giants last season.
Let's run down the list: got off to a great start, battled injuries and bad play for a decent stretch, and are incredibly capable of putting it all together in a run to the Super Bowl. As much as it pains me to say so, don't sleep on the Dallas Cowboys.
