Fantasy Football Week 7: Team Defense Rankings

Here’s the LestersLegends’ Week 7 2011 fantasy football defense rankings.

1. Baltimore @ Jacksonville: The Jags rank 31st with 12.0 ppg. The Ravens rank first with 14.2 ppg allowed.

2. Dallas vs. St. Louis: Rams rank last with 9.8 ppg. Dallas is tied for 8th with 16 sacks, which isn't good news for Bradford, who will have limited mobility because of an ankle injury.

3. Green Bay @ Minnesota: The Vikings made a change at QB, but it doesn’t solve their offensive line woes or lack of capable receivers. Tough first start for a rookie.

4. Pittsburgh @ Arizona: Cardinals are tied for 23rd with 19.2 ppg. Steelers rank 4th with 17.0 ppg allowed. Kolb has been sacked 16 times and thrown six picks.

5. Oakland vs. Kansas City: Chiefs are 29th with 15.4 ppg. Raiders are also tied for 8th with 16 sacks.

6. San Diego @ New York Jets: The Jets offense just isn’t clicking right now. The Chargers rank 4th with 293.2 yards allowed and 10th with 21.8 ppg allowed.

7. Chicago @ Tampa Bay: The Bucs looked better last week, but still rank 25th with 18.8 ppg. The Bears are tied for 12th with 22.0 ppg allowed.

8. New Orleans vs. Indianapolis: The Colts have looked better of late, but the Saints aggressive defense will come on when their offense builds the lead.

9. Cleveland vs. Seattle: It’s sad but the Seahawks will miss T-Jack. Cleveland ranks 7th with 321.8 ypg allowed.

10. Washington @ Carolina: The Redskins rank 3rd with 16.6 ppg allowed and 6th with 321.6 ypg allowed.

11. New York Jets vs. San Diego: Tough matchup but the Jets are playing at home.

12. Detroit vs. Atlanta: Lions are playing at home, and will be feisty after last week’s loss.

13. Denver @ Miami: Miami has issues, and the Broncos will be fired up in Tebow’s start.

14. Tampa Bay vs. Chicago: If Tampa Bay can get to Cutler, they can rack up sacks and turnovers.

15. Houston @ Tennessee: Texans rank 9th with 20.7 ppg allowed.
