NFL Week 7 Picks: Tim Tebow Will Lead Denver Broncos over Winless Dolphins
Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow will win his first start of the 2011 NFL season this week against the Miami Dolphins, who are 0-5 at the bottom of the AFC East.
Tebow finally gets his chance to be the man at quarterback for the Broncos, after many fans were begging for head coach John Fox to bench Kyle Orton after the team started 1-3.
Tebow played well in the later part of last season, but after not starting a single game through six weeks this season, he had to play given the team's struggles under Orton.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
To be fair to Orton, the Broncos 1-4 record is not entirely his fault. His stats aren't terrible, he just didn't have a defense that could stop the opposing team from scoring too many points. Orton is a good quarterback, but he won't put up 30-plus points too often.
The thing Tebow will bring to the Broncos that Orton can't is that he can make plays with his legs and turn potential sacks and 10-yard losses into 10-yard gains.
Tebow is tough for defensive coordinators to create a game plan for because he is so unpredictable. Tebow isn't a great passer, but he isn't a poor one either.
He has good arm strength, but doesn't have amazing accuracy. However, he does have some decent weapons to use on offense, including wide receivers Eddie Royal and Eric Decker.
The Dolphins defense is not going to cover the Broncos receivers that well and they will have a difficult time putting pressure on Tebow.
If the Broncos can give Tebow time to throw, he could do well against the Miami pass defense.
Tebow also gives the team and fans an important emotional boost. The fans love him and they are always excited when he steps on the field.
His passionate and highly intense style of play really lifts the fans spirits and that will help the Broncos in pressure moments.
All things considered, Tebow is a winner. He was a winner in college at Florida and he will be a winner with the Denver Broncos.
Tebow plays hard on every play and is willing to get better. His time has come to prove that he's the real deal and was worthy of a first-round draft pick.
Regardless if Tim Tebow is better than Kyle Orton or not, Tebow gives the Broncos the best chance to win and that is the best reason to start him on Sunday.
Tebow will beat the Dolphins this week and start his 2011 season off on the right foot with a well-earned victory.
