Georgia Tech vs. Miami (FL): Last Minute Spread Info, BCS Impact and Predictions
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets better be prepared for this one because the Miami Hurricanes have upset on their minds this weekend.
The Hurricanes are coming off an impressive victory in Chapel Hill, N.C. where they knocked off the North Carolina Tar Heels, while the Yellow Jackets are coming off a disastrous effort in Charlottesville, Va.
Georgia Tech was upset 24-21 by a Virginia team that needed overtime to knock off Idaho the week before.
Where: Sun Life Stadium (Miami, FL)
When: Saturday, October 22nd at 3:30 p.m. EDT
Watch: ESPN, ESPN3 (Live stream)
Spread: Miami (-3)
Georgia Tech did not look very impressive last week on the road in Virginia, and their passing game looks nonexistent. The Yellow Jackets are going to have an even more difficult time when they step foot inside Sun Life Stadium.
The crowd is going to be much louder than it was in Charlottesville, and that doesn't bode well for this rushing attack.
Expect this team to pick up a lot of penalties, and falter against a Miami team who has been playing excellent football as of late.

BCS/Top 25 Implications
The Hurricanes are looking to find their way back into the Top 25, and a victory over Georgia Tech would get them a step close to working climbing into the polls.
The Yellow Jackets are looking to keep their BCS hopes alive with a victory. They are currently in first place in the Coastal division, but they are going to have to hold off the Virginia Tech Hokies. That won't happen if they falter in this matchup.
This game is huge for both teams, but Georgia Tech has their sights on much bigger things.
Keys to Victory for Miami:
The Hurricanes need to stop the Yellow Jackets triple option if they are going to have any chance of coming away with a victory.
Georgia Tech boasts the second-best rushing game in the country, as they average just under 350 yards per game.
They don't have a passing attack that is consistent enough to move the ball, so if Miami can shut down the run, they will have no problem coming away with a huge victory.
Keys to Victory for Georgia Tech:
Jacory Harris has done a terrific job of protecting the football this season, but the Yellow Jackets need to find a way to bring out the old Jacory.
Harris was a turnover machine at times last season, and if Georgia Tech can find a way to create some turnovers, they should have a solid chance of leaving Miami with a win.
They also need to find a way to move the ball through the air. Their WRs stepped up at times against the Tar Heels earlier this year, but they haven't done much since that game. Tevin Washington needs to create through the air to at least keep the Hurricanes honest in this game.
