NFL Week 7 Predictions: Which RBs Will Break 100 Yards on the Ground?
While the NFL has been dominated by impressive aerial performances thus far in 2011, there is still that other guy in the offensive backfield who can put up big numbers. Of course, it's the running back. While the position has been devalued some over time, there are still plenty of backs who can crack the century mark during a given week.
In Week 7 of the NFL season, these guys are the best bets:
Matt Forte, Bears

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It's amazing how long it took offensive coordinator Mike Martz to figure out that Forte is far and away his best offensive weapon. Now that Forte is getting the ball consistently, he's producing in huge amounts. Forte has over 400 yards in his past three games, and he should see plenty of the ball Sunday against the Bucs to go over 100 again.
Ray Rice, Ravens
The Jaguars defense has been tough against the pass in 2011, but the same can't be said on the ground. In the past three weeks, they've been gashed by both the Steelers and Saints. Rice will continue to make life tough on the ground for Jacksonville Sunday.
Darren McFadden, Raiders
The Raiders should lean heavily on the run Sunday with Carson Palmer making his first start. That means the Chiefs will see a lot of McFadden, who is itching for an 100-yard game after being kept under that mark in three straight weeks.
Rashard Mendenhall, Steelers
Mendenhall is obviously over his hamstring injury, as he carried the ball 23 times for 146 yards and a score last week in Jacksonville. Hopefully Mendenhall watched plenty of Adrian Peterson this week, as he burned the Cardinals defense two weeks ago for three scores and over 100 yards.
Adrian Peterson, Vikings
Speaking of that Peterson guy—you didn't really think we'd leave him off this list, did you? The Packers will likely load the box and force Christian Ponder to beat them, but we've seen AP beat eight and nine box fronts plenty of times in his career.
Ryan Torain, Redskins
Torain was a huge disappointment last week against a soft Eagles run defense, but I think he bounces back with a big day against the Panthers. Carolina has been equally as poor stopping the run in 2011.
Mark Ingram, Saints
Ingram has yet to crack 100 yards in his NFL career, but he could do it this Sunday against the Colts. The Saints will likely be up throughout, which means plenty of carries for the former Heisman Trophy winner.
Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks
The Browns have given up over 100 yards to opposing running backs in ever game this season, and Lynch is coming off his best game of 2011 against the Giants. "Beast Mode" could break 100 yards for the first time this weekend.
