NFL Predictions: Forecasting Tim Tebow's Record for the Rest of the Season

After taking over for Kyle Orton in the second half in Week 5, Tim Tebow will be handed the ball as the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos. Tebow has potential to create a stir in Denver and it is hard to make NFL predictions about how he will do going forward and how his record will be at the end of the season. However, I am going to give it a shot!

There are high hopes for Tebow in Denver and him being successful is a prediction that seems inevitable for the stud from Florida.

Tebow showed he has potential in the second half against the San Diego Chargers, but the Broncos are still 1-4 and Tebow can make this team better by season's end. I have the predictions for the remaining 11 games.

Week 7: At Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are 0-5 and are the worst team in the NFL this season. There is no way the Dolphins keep up with the offensive attack of the Broncos. Brandon Lloyd may be gone for Tim Tebow, but he still has Eric Decker who leads the team with four touchdown catches.

Tebow will have a masterful game as he throws for 300+ yards and three touchdown passes. He will also score a rushing touchdown and the Broncos will win 31-10

Week 8: Vs Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions' defense will be a huge test for Tebow as he looks to continue his 2011 campaign after beating the Dolphins in Week 7.

Tebow won't be able to rush as much this week and the Lions will be able to control his passing game. He will still throw for 200 yards, but he will be intercepted twice and throw one touchdown in the 28-17 loss to the Lions.

Week 9: At Oakland Raiders

The Oakland Raiders are no pushovers, but with Carlson Palmer at the helm for their starting quarterback position, it seems as if Tebow Time will be a great time for this matchup.

Tebow will throw for 250 yards with a couple touchdowns and will also rush for two touchdowns in the 28-27 victory over the Raiders.

Week 10: At Kansas City Chiefs

The Matt Cassel-Tim Tebow matchup will be a great game to watch in Week 10 as these quarterbacks are two of the great young quarterbacks on two young teams.

This matchup will provide Tebow with another win as he throws for 350 yards and three passing touchdowns in the 24-7 victory over the division-rival Chiefs.

Week 11: Vs Jets

Jets fans need to be cautious with this matchup as they are not the elite team that they have been the past two seasons. Tebow will not light them up big time, but he will be able to beat the Jets for maybe the biggest upset of Tebow's career.

Tebow will throw for 150 yards and one touchdown. The Broncos will return to .500 with a huge 20-17 victory over the New York Jets.

Week 12: At San Diego

Tim Tebow had a huge second half to make this Week 5 matchup as close as possible. Tebow will fall back to earth against the San Diego Chargers in Week 12.

He will throw for 100 yards in this game and will rush for a touchdown, but the three picks he throws will cost him. The Broncos will lose 28-7.

Week 13: At Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings offensive and defensive struggles in 2011 will come back to bite them as Tebow will rip their defense to shreds.

Tebow will throw for over 400 yards and four touchdowns as the Broncos cruise to the 38-23 victory.

Week 14: Vs Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears will struggle against the running attack of the Broncos in this week's game.

Tebow will rush for over 100 yards and will rush for two touchdowns as they win a tight one at home, 21-17.

Week 15: Vs New England Patriots

The Patriots have too much firepower for the Broncos defense to handle and Tebow will have a decent game, but the defense will not hold up in this one.

Tebow will throw for 275 yards and a touchdown. Additionally, he will throw one interception. He will also rush for a score in the 38-20 loss to the Patriots.

Week 16: At Buffalo

The Buffalo Bills have too many offensive weapons for the Broncos defense to handle, and with them out of the playoff hunt until the 2012 season, the Broncos will just be playing for pride.

Tebow will score on a rushing touchdown and throw two picks in the 24-14 loss to the Bills.

Week 17: Vs Kansas City Chiefs

Tim Tebow will have a monster game for his last home start of the 2011-12 season. He will throw for over 350 yards and four touchdowns. He will also rush for a score in the 42-3 romp of the Chiefs.

The defense will stop Matt Cassel from throwing the ball accurately and stop the Chiefs' running game.

Tebow's Record in 11 Starts: 7-4

Tim Tebow will bring the Broncos back to .500 at the end of the season which would be great for their fanbase. They may not make the playoffs, but with Tebow there will be hope for the future that they can get something done in the postseason.
