Ndamukong Suh Video: Watch Lions DT Give Office Star a Lineman Lesson

Wes ODonnellOct 20, 2011

Detroit Lions all-pro defensive tackle, Ndamukong Suh, has the reputation of being a mean dude.

There is no denying that when on the field, Suh transforms into an unstoppable monster who plays until the whistle and is constantly working.

When compared with Kevin Malone of the hit NBC comedy "The Office," you could say that the two are nothing alike.

Kevin likes to sit down, giggle at sexually suggestive comments and eat M&Ms on a regular basis. All in all, Kevin is rather harmless unless he tries to bring his world famous chili into work.

But that didn't stop the actor who portrays Kevin, Brian Baumgartner, from taking the field with Suh to learn some of his training habits.

Fortunately for Brian, Suh wasn't in pads and was just putting the actor through some lineman drills that help make him one of the best players in the National Football League.

The last time we saw Kevin (and I apologize to Brian for putting him in the backseat to his character) this active (spoiler alert), happened to be only a few episodes ago.

(Again, THE OFFICE. SPOILER. ALERT.) When the warehouse crew wins the lottery and quits their jobs, Andy Bernard sends Jim, Dwight, Kevin and Erin down to the warehouse to load the delivery trucks.

Let's just say that Kevin and Co. should have invited Suh to their jobs rather than visiting Suh at his.

Kevin comes up with the brilliant idea of greasing the floor so they can slide boxes of paper to the truck. Needless to say, Suh's footwork, strength and will to dominate would certainly have helped.

What we did find out from Kevin's visit to the gridiron is that Suh is hardly a mean dude off the field.

In fact, he gave his alma mater, Nebraska, a $2 million donation for an upgraded strength and conditioning program.

Suh has been well known for his work ethic and training since the early stages of his draft process. He's also set himself apart from other players with off-the-field activities and social networking.

You can follow the very likable all-pro on Twitter and hope to get in on the action yourself.

Suh's reputation on the football field is well deserved, but he, like Brian Baumgartner, is a different person when he's not at work.
