NFL Predictions Week 7: Washington Redskins and Road Teams That Will Win
Week 7 of the NFL schedule is going to be owned by the road team.
Letโs start with the San Diego Chargers, who are coming off a bye and are playing a New York Jets team on short rest.
Antonio Gates is currently questionable and has a chance to play for the first time in over a month. He can really open up a Chargers offense that is getting by just fine without him.
Considering the painful struggles of Mark Sanchez of late, the remedy is not the second-best pass defense in the NFL.
The Seattle Seahawks travel to Cleveland to take on the disgruntled Browns. The Peyton Hillis drama is overshadowing the season, and itโs become an incredibly large distraction.
Now heโs out with a hamstring injuryโand the Cleveland offense is unbelievably bad without him. They have zero playmakers.
At least the Seahawks have Sidney Rice and a decent defense.
The Washington Redskins are having QB issues, but the Carolina Panthers are having issues everywhere but QB.
Advantage Washington.
Tim Tebow is having a homecoming of sorts when he makes his first start of the year in Miami. With the โ08 Gatorsโ championship season being celebrated at halftimeโthis is going to turn into a home game for the second-year pro.
Also remember the Broncos are coming off a bye and the Dolphins played on Monday.
The most obvious pick is the Pittsburgh Steelers visiting the Arizona Cardinals. In a complete mismatch between a veteran Steelers team that can beat you any way possible and a Cardinals defense that canโt stop anythingโthis one will be a romp.
Last but not least, we have the Baltimore Ravens traveling to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football. ย
Not much to analyze hereโthe Ravens are better in every facet of the game, are more experienced and will not be getting beat by a rookie QB who just celebrated his 22nd birthday.
As you can see, there are at least six road teams that have a strong advantage in Week 7.ย
