Manchester United vs Spurs in Carling Cup Final

David WilsonDec 7, 2008

That would be the consensus thought after the Carling Cup draw was made yesterday after the two big guns Manchester United and Tottenham left in the cup avoided each other in the Carling Cup semi-finals.
The two Premier League teams will meet in the final at Wembley if they can overcome their lower-league opposition over two legs next month.

Last season’s Double winners United face Derby, who upset Stoke this week. And holders Tottenham are up against shock kings Burnley, who have already knocked out London giants Arsenal and Chelsea.
