NFL Predictions Week 7: Ravens vs. Jaguars and More Low-Scoring Locks
Some defenses are just good, some offenses are just inept. Whatever the case, there are plenty of games each week that make people who favor high scoring games cringe.
On the other hand, if you're a person who likes the punters, those kind of games probably bring a special smile to your face.
Those are the kind of games that we're looking at this week. Don't expect a whole lot of offense from these clashes.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ravens vs. Jaguars
I see the Ravens scoring no more than about 20 points in this game. The Jaguars defense is perfectly capable of shutting the Ravens down, which is exactly what I see them doing.
But here's the thing about that game. The Ravens will still win, and win convincingly.
Every now and again, you'll see two games that have similar scores. So, for the sake of argument, let's call the final score of this one 17-6. One game could be relatively close, decided late on one play. The other game can be an absolute domination.
This will fall into the second category. The Ravens will dominate the game, they just won't score many points in the process.
Steelers vs. Cardinals
I am still not sold on the Steelers offense. Ben Roethlisberger is getting better and the rushing attack is strong, but I am not convinced that they will score a lot of points.
Still, like their rivals in the AFC North, they will win this game and win it convincingly. The Cardinals have just been awful this season. There is really nothing to suggest to me that they are capable of scoring more than about 10-14 points against a defense like Pittsburgh.
I fully expect this one to be a low scoring game. Anything more than about 40 combined points would be a genuine surprise.
Chiefs vs. Raiders
Is Carson Palmer really going to step in and take over a game? I have my doubts on that, but I have no doubts that the Raiders will win this one.
The Chiefs are an offense in shambles. The Raiders do have holes on defense, but the Chiefs aren't the team to expose them.
Offensively, the Raiders look great, but take a look at their last performance.
They scored 24 points, which is nice. But seven were on a kickoff return, and seven were off of a fake field goal. All of a sudden, the offensive effort doesn't look so great.
These teams are capable of a shootout, but that's just not going to happen this week.
