NFL Picks Week 7: Carolina Panthers and More Teams That Will Impress in Losses
In professional sports, there is really no such thing as a good loss. You should be trying to win every game.
Still, every game is going to produce a winner and a loser.
My guess is that all three of these teams are going to lose. With that being said, I think they will all look pretty impressive in their losing effort, which is why a win wouldn't surprise me.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
While only one of these teams has a winning record, they have all performed better than expected this season. That won't continue this week in terms of wins and losses, but they will continue to scare future opponents.
Carolina Panthers
At some point this year, the Panthers are going to upset a team vying for a playoff spot. They have only one win this year, but have had some extremely exciting losses.
The Redskins are a team with some significant change, notably at the quarterback position. I see them running a lot this week, which is where the Panthers are vulnerable.
I like the Redskins' defense to do enough against Cam Newton to get Washington a win, but I expect more impressive play from the Panthers and their rookie quarterback.
Tennessee Titans
With Kenny Britt going down early and Chris Johnson battling inconsistency, I don't think many people had the Titans at 3-2. If you did, you should give yourself a nice pat on the back.
The Texans are struggling right now, but I see them bouncing back this week. If the Texans don't win this game, we will hear some serious grumblings in Houston.
Fortunately for Texans fans, I do think they have the better team. Tennessee's loss against Pittsburgh really exposed some weaknesses of the Titans.
Seattle Seahawks
It's not that 2-3 is a great record, but I expected the Seahawks to be the worst team in the league. They have struggled at times this year, but are clearly nowhere near that.
As for this week, I still like the Browns to step up and play like dark-horse contenders. Given that the game is in Cleveland and Seattle has an unsure quarterback situation, I will go with the Browns here.
I am expecting a very good game. Even in a losing effort, the Seahawks will distance themselves from the true worst teams in the league.
