Week 7 Waiver Wire: Carson Palmer and Ronnie Brown, Week 7 Must Adds
Carson Palmer is not going to waste any time producing for the Oakland Raiders and you shouldn't waste any time adding him to your roster.
Palmer is going to start this week against the Kansas City Chiefs. Even though he's going to have very little time to get comfortable with his receivers, he will still put up a solid fantasy start.
Palmer is familiar with the Raiders' offensive system. What's more, he will be playing against a Chiefs team with a suspect defense. The Chiefs are 21st in rushing yards allowed and and 17th in passing.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Raiders will be able to run the ball effectively against the Chiefs. While this will limit Palmer's passing attempts, it will open things up for the big play.
You can expect Palmer to hit a couple of deep plays on play-action in this game. Hue Jackson will be anxious to put his new QB's arm on display and the Raiders have the receivers to get open long.
The addition of Palmer is not just for this week, though. He will have a bye following the Chiefs game and will return to a soft schedule and be ready to produce for the remainder of the year.
Much like Carson Palmer, Ronnie Brown will walk into his new team and produce right away. Starting Lions RB Jahvid Best is likely out with a concussion this week, and Ronnie Brown is going to be the featured back.
Brown should be considered a solid flex start this week. His yards will be limited as he is facing a Falcons team that is stopping the run much better than they are stopping the pass.
They are allowing opposing running backs to gain just 3.8 yards per carry. Brown will get enough carries to produce, though, and he will be the featured back when the Lions near the goal line.
