Week 7 Waiver Wire: Tim Tebow and More Sleeper QBs to Fill Bye-Week Needs
There are several big-name quarterbacks on bye in Week 7, which will make the fantasy football waiver wire a busy place. Tom Brady, Eli Manning and Michael Vick are all enjoying the week off, so here are three quarterback options to consider to fill the hole in your lineup.
All scoring projections are based on standard fantasy football scoring rules.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Moore drew the worst possible matchup for his first start of the season. The New York Jets are the league's best defense at shutting down opposing fantasy quarterbacks and made Moore look terrible. Look on the bright side, when he faces the 32nd-ranked Broncos on Sunday, it will seem easy. Right?
The Oregon State product showed a good rapport with No. 1 receiver Brandon Marshall, even though he forced a few passes into coverage that Marshall didn't appear to fight enough to bring down. Simply because of the opponent, Moore is worth a one-week trial run.
Week 7 Projection: 12 fantasy points
Curtis Painter—Indianapolis Colts
Painter's first two starts (32 total points) made him look like a borderline weekly fantasy starter, but he came back down to earth against the Cincinnati Bengals last week. He's nothing more than a bye-week option, even with all the weapons at his disposal
He gets a good matchup against a New Orleans Saints secondary that has allowed fantasy QBs to rack up 40 points over the past two weeks. Painter should have a good week regardless, but if he wants to take his game to the next level, he needs to start utilizing Reggie Wayne more often.
Week 7 Projection: 14 fantasy points
Tim Tebow—Denver Broncos
Despite the hype surrounding Tebow, he's still available in nearly half of ESPN leagues. He scored 16 points in limited playing time last week and has a very favorable matchup against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7—his first as a starter since last year.
While Tebow is never going to put up huge passing numbers on a consistent basis, his dual-threat abilities and nose for the goal line once inside the red zone make him an intriguing fantasy option. He's probably worth keeping on your bench, even after your starter returns from bye.
Week 7 Projection: 15 fantasy points
