Prime Picks In The NFL: Week 15, Final Drive For The Playoffs.

Welcome to week 15 in the NFL and hopefully some more good predictions for December 11th and 14th. 2008. Some teams chances grow ever slimmer. as other teams have firmed up their playoff aspirations.

New Orleans comes off a win at home to face Chicago on the road. Chicago remains one game back in their division. I just don't think Chicago can keep up with the offense of Drew Brees and the Saints. New Orleans burns this defense to send playoff hopes up in flames for Chicago. Take the Saints on the road on this one.

Minnesota takes on the powerful offense of the Arizona Cardinals in Arizona.I like the Cardinals to stay on a roll at home.

Green Bay takes on Jacksonville at home. Now that they are just about out of their division race, they will win this week.

The Eagles are back at home after a big win against the Giants this week. They are 7-5-1 and will beat Cleveland to move to 8-5-1 to keep playoff hopes barely alive.

The Giants, fresh off their 2nd loss of the season ,travels into Dallas this week. The Gaints did not look good against Philadelphia last week. Look for this team to bounce back and win the division this week.

Indianapolis is 9-4 now and will go to 10-4 against the helpless Lions. The Lions , of course will be 0-14.

San Diego goes to Kansas City and should win, but their playoff hopes are ever so slim. Take the Chargers in another must win game for them.

Tampa Bay goes into Atlanta needing a win.The Falcons are 8-5 now and desperately need a win for playoff chances. This game will be  a division war.  I think Tampa Bay loads up against the passing of Matt Ryan, because they know they can stop the run. Take Tampa in a close game.

Miami hosts the San Francisco 49ers . Another west coast team traveling to the east. Take the Dolphins , who are tied for 1st place in their division. How quick things change in the NFL.

The Jets are at home against Buffalo in a division game that is important to the Jets. Brett Favre and his team will get it done this week. They are tied with [gulp] Miami and New England for the division lead! Everyone is at 8-5.

The Redskins take on the Bengals in Cincinnati in a must win for Washington. I smell upset here. Washington needs to return to the form of earlier in the season to win this game. Redskins win a very close game.

Seattle travels to St. Louis , both teams doing horribly this season. Take the home team in this one.

Tennessee travels to Houston this week. Houston is playing very good with Matt Schaub at home, especially. I will take the upset and Houston this week!

Pittsburgh takes on division rival Baltimore on the Ravens home field. Two big defenses clash in this game. The Steelers are just a little better than the Ravens this season. This late in the season, take the more experienced team to get it done. Steelers win this one.

Denver travels to Carolina this week. Denver is hard to get a finger on this season. Carolina is pretty tough at home. Denver doesn t travel well to the east coast . The Panthers should win this game at home!

New England is on the west coast for the 2nd week in a row against a weak opponent. New England is in a must win situation to keep slim hopes for the playoffs alive. Take the Patriots in this game against the Raiders.

The playoffs should start looking pretty clear in most divisions,as wild card teams start showing some seperation from weaker rivals.

Tennessee is in, having already clinched a wild card. The AFC East is a dogfight now. One division winner, and perhaps the Jets, New England or the Dolphins   in a wild card berth.

The Steelers have a firm hold on the division now.  Denver is probably in. Indy should get the other wild card.

In the NFC, he Giants will be in, Arizona is in, having clinched its division. Tampa Bay and Carolina battle for that division and one will probably be a wild card. Minnesota has the upper hand in their division , and the last wild card is up for grabs with Dallas, Washington, and  Philadelphia with a very outside chance of making it.Atlanta is also still alive for a wild card!

The most interesting race in now in the AFC East with Miami having a chance to steal the division. Wow!
