WWE Vengeance 2011: Can Alberto Del Rio Keep the WWE Title Away from John Cena?

This Sunday is WWE's Vengeance PPV event, and with the current lineup of matches it is sure to be a good card.

The WWE Title match is a last man standing match between reigning champion Alberto Del Rio and former champion John Cena.

The WWE title picture has been shaken up a little in the past six months with Punk and Del Rio being brought to the forefront of the feuds.

Del Rio was brought into WWE with very high expectations, and received a big push right out of the gate when his first match was a win over Rey Mysterio.

Now it seems as if Del Rio's destiny really was to be the WWE champion, because he gained the title in just under a year after debuting in the ring.

His time in Mexico is well documented so it should come as no surprise that he was pushed right out of the gate.

John Cena has had a storybook career in WWE that has seen it's high and, well, it's highs. Cena has never really had a major slump in his career.

He is a hard worker and seems to genuinely enjoy the lifestyle of a WWE superstar, which can wear on some people due to heavy travel and poor diet on the road.

Cena is now a record setting ten time WWE champion, as well as a two time World Heavyweight champion.

His time at the top of the company has been fruitful for both him and the WWE as he is the poster boy of the PG era.

Being the top guy in WWE is tough, especially in the PG era when you come off as a boy scout in bright shirts and hats. Cena is no slouch though as he has beaten everyone WWE has thrown his way.

This Sunday will be another showdown between the Mexican aristocrat and the leader of the Cenation and it is sure to be a knock down drag out brawl with the last man standing stipulation.

I am curious to see how this plays out as Del Rio is a great heel champion who could easily go on to feud with CM Punk after his program with Cena ends, but Cena could get his eleventh title this Sunday.
