Week 7 Waiver Wire Fantasy Football: Carson Palmer and the 3 Must-Adds
Yes, you need to add Oakland Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer.
He was booed last year in Cincinnati and hasn't participated in a practice or played in a game since the end of the 2010 season, but he'll be a fine addition to your fantasy lineup as a backup signal-caller.
Here's why you should add Palmer, as well as two other players you must look for on the waiver wire.

Re-Drafting the Last 5 Rookie Classes 🤯
Carson Palmer
The Raiders' passing attack wasn't the most potent part of their offense, but Jason Campbell was doing a good job as a fantasy quarterback. His only real lackluster game came in a win over the New York Jets, in which he didn't eclipse the 200-yard mark through the air or throw a touchdown pass.
Oakland probably gave up too much for Palmer, who'll turn 32 in December. However, he is familiar with head coach Hue Jackson and the Raiders' offensive system.
With the speed and athleticism he has around him, you'd be foolish to not sign Palmer.
Jackie Battle
Battle is coming off a 119-yard rushing performance with the Chiefs in a Week 5 win over the Indianapolis Colts, on a mere 19 carries.
The Raiders run defense is actually statistically worse than the Colts in terms of yards allowed per carry. You better believe Kansas City head coach Todd Haley will feature Battle often in the Black Hole.
This is a running back who ran for 100-plus yards in his last game, facing one of the worst run defenses in the league—what more could you want?
Doug Baldwin
I've been writing about Baldwin for two weeks. Now that he's off the bye, you'll finally be able to reap the benefits of adding him.
He has three games of 80 or more receiving yards and has become a favorite target of Tarvaris Jackson out of the slot.
Not being on the outside will help him this week. It's unlikely he'll have to match up against Browns cornerback Joe Haden.
Baldwin should get between 6-10 targets this week and is unquestionably a must-add.
