The Nittany Lions come into this game after a big win against Purdue. A win here puts Penn State near the top of the Leaders Division, with a chance at playing in the first Big-Ten championship game.

Last week against Purdue, Silas ran for over 120 yards for the third straight week. Let’s see if he can continue the streak against Northwestern. 

Northwestern Player to Watch: QB Dan Persa

The quarterback was replaced last week with Trevor Siemian, who directed the team to a seven-play 59-yard scoring drive. However, this is still Persa’s team, and this is still his offense for the season.

Key Matchup: QB Dan Persa vs. the Penn State defense  

Northwestern QB Dan Persa came into this year with a lot of Heisman Trophy hype. However, an injury derailed his campaign, as he had to miss the first couple of weeks. 

Now that he’s back and healthy, he is the key to any chance of a Northwestern upset this week.
