Week 7 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Montario Hardesty and Top RBs To Pounce on
Between injuries and bye weeks, you have to be scouring the waiver wire every week looking for the next great fantasy producer.
While the following three backs don’t have great numbers thus far, there’s good reasons why they will vault your team to the top in Week 7.
1. Montario Hardesty, Cleveland Browns

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This really has nothing to do with Hardesty, who is small and speedy, but an awful blocker. It’s because Peyton Hillis is dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him out of the majority of Sunday’s game against the Raiders. Don’t forget about all of the contract drama Hillis has been dealing with as well.
Hardesty has the elusive speed and burst to break off huge plays. He is also capable of catching passes in the backfield and turning a screen pass into a TD.
He’s a good pickup for this week and possibly longer, depending on the status of Hillis.
2. DeMarco Murray, Dallas Cowboys
Felix Jones has a high ankle sprain and Tashard Choice is in coach Jason Garrett’s doghouse.
Enter the rookie Murray.
The power runner from Oklahoma was compared to Adrian Peterson at one point in his career, but injuries knocked him back in the draft. Yet when healthy, this guy can run people over and he also possesses above-average speed. He had 32 yards on 10 attempts against the Patriots.
Factor in that he’ll likely be getting around 12-15 touches against a horrible Rams defense and this guy is sure to have a breakout performance in Week 7.
3. Jackie Battle, Kansas City Chiefs
Battle had 140-total yards in Week 5 and had the benefit of the bye week for coach Todd Haley to fully incorporate him into the offense. With the age of Thomas Jones and Dexter McCluster looking more like an RB/WR hybrid, it’s Battles that will be collecting 15-20 carries against the Raiders.
Did I mention they are one of the worst teams in the league against the run?
