Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings: Matt Forte and RBs That Will Rack Up Points
We are entering the meat of the fantasy football schedule.
These next few weeks will decide a lot of playoff fates around the fantasy-crazed nation. While the NFL has become a pass-happy league, running backs still rule the roost in fantasy leagues because there are so few elite ball carriers.
Here are three running backs sure to score big in Week 7. All projections are based on standard fantasy football scoring rules.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Ryan Torain, Washington Redskins
Torain appears to have unseated Tim Hightower as the lead back in Washington, which makes him a tremendous fantasy option.
He struggled against the Philadelphia Eagles because Washington got behind early and had to throw the ball a lot in the second half.
If there's one thing everybody knows about fantasy sports, it's that one game's results does not guarantee a similar outcome in the future.
Torain goes up against a Carolina Panthers defense that ranks last in the league against fantasy running backs in 2011, and that should lead to a big bounce-back afternoon.
Week 7 Projection: 16 fantasy points
Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders
McFadden is one of just three backs that has already reached the 100-point plateau. The explosive Arkansas product is averaging over five yards per rush and is catching three balls per game, as well. He truly does it all for the Oakland offense.
The Raiders face off with a weak Kansas City Chiefs run defense on Sunday, which should mean another monster game for McFadden, who gained 89 yards on just 17 carries last season against Kansas City. He should see a heavier workload this week, especially with an uncertain QB situation until Carson Palmer (if the deal goes through) gets acclimated to the offense.
Week 7 Projection: 20 fantasy points
Matt Forte, Chicago Bears
Forte has been a man on a mission this season as he prepared for his first big payday this offseason. Aside from a game against the Green Bay Packers, he has scored in double digits every week and has gone over 20 points twice.
It could very well be three after a meeting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who have already let Adrian Peterson and Frank Gore run wild this season.
A motivated runner is a dangerous runner, and that exemplifies Forte right now.
