7 Reasons Tim Tebow Wins His 1st Start of 2011

Tim Tebow is ready for NFL success.  Despite the strong doubt of his ability to succeed in the NFL, Tebow continues to strive for excellence. He has rushed for a touchdown in each of his last seven appearances 

That is impressive for a guy who most experts wrote off as nothing more than a college success story.

The doubters still remain.  ESPN analyst Merril Hoge said Tim Tebow does not have the accuracy to be an NFL quarterback.

Sitting at 1-4, the Broncos will ride the hot hand of Tebow heading into their Week 7 match-up against the Miami Dolphins.  Coming off of the comeback effort that stalled just short of miraculous, Tebow looks to prove to the Denver faithful and the world he belongs in the NFL.

Tebow will lead the Broncos to a significant victory in Week 7 that just may turn the tide of the Broncos 2011 season.

The Dolpins Want Andrew Luck

The Dolphins currently sit at 0-5 and are not looking like a team capable of competing in a crowded division of superior competitors.

The Bills, Pats and recently the Jets have all exhibited their dominance over the lowly 2011 Miami Dolphins.

With the loss of quarterback Chad Henne for the rest of the 2011 season, a QB the Dolphin management was not completely sold on in the first place, it is highly likely the Dolphins will be drafting a quarterback in the 2012 draft.

The best option for the Dolphins at this point is to continue to lose in order to draft Stanford's star quarterback Andrew Luck.

Luck is believed to be the next great NFL quarterback.

Given the lack of a adequate QB talent since Dan Marino's retirement, the drafting of Luck will help invigorate the Dolphins and bring them back to the playoffs.

Dolphins' Short Week

The Dolphins are coming off of a dismal performance on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets.  A short week to prepare for the new look Broncos offense led by Tim Tebow does not bode well for their chances of success.

Add in the Broncos are coming off of a bye week and have had enough time to transition from Kyle Orton to Tebow at the QB position and the results may be disastrous for the Dolphin faithful.

Homecoming Game for Tebow

October 23, 2011 looks to be a commemorative event for the 2009 NCAA champion Florida Gators. 

Those champion Gators will be honored during the game this Sunday.

Tebow is idolized in Florida by football fans of all ages and backgrounds.  The fact this celebration is occurring during Tebow's first start of 2011 bodes well for his confidence and mindset heading into the game.

Tebow will have everything in his favor playing in Miami this Sunday.  By the sounds of the fans, you will likely think Tebow is playing QB for the Miami Dolphins.

Willis McGahee Returns

Not only does the Dolphin defense need to account for Tebow out of the backfield, they should not sleep on the dangerous Willis McGahee.

McGahee has re-emerged as a punishing running back, rushing for over one hundred yards in three of his four starts this season.

As a result of perpetual injuries to running back of the future Knowshon Moreno, McGahee was given a second life as a starting running back in Denver.

He has not disappointed to this point.  On the season, he has rushed for 384 yards.  His average of 4.5 yards per carry has been bolstered by a 7.4 average during the month of October thus far.

Intangibles

Tim Tebow brings so much more to the table than an average player.  His leadership and inspiration brings out the best in teammates.

Running back Willis McGahee admitted Tebow sparked the team and moved the ball once he entered.

There is something about Tebow and his desire for greatness that seems to inspire those around him to excel.

That influence will do great things for the underachieving Broncos this Sunday in Miami.

Tebow Just Wins

Tim Tebow is a proven winner wherever he has gone in his football career.  His name speaks for itself.

As arguably one of the greatest NCAA football players of all-time, it is hard to deny his excellence.  He brings a new fire to a stagnant Broncos franchise that could and will push the team to new heights.

A leader like Tebow inspires teammates to play to and above their potential.

Opponent and former teammate at the University of Florida Mike Pouncey, Miami Dolphins center, stated earlier this week that Tebow was a "winner" and he has the chance "prove everybody wrong" by succeeding as an NFL quarterback.

Now or Never

The Broncos used a first round draft pick on Tebow in hopes he would galvanize their franchise.  The fan base has already embraced him and are depending on his success.

It would seem, at first glance, Tebow is being set up for failure by being thrown into the fold of a 1-4 start to the season.

To make matters worse, Broncos management just traded away the best pass catching option Denver has in Brandon Lloyd.

In order to gain confidence from management and in himself, Tebow will be throwing it all on the line in the coming weeks.

These weeks will define Tebow and the not-so-distant future of the Broncos franchise.
