Fantasy Football Week 7 Waiver Wire: Montario Hardesty and More Sleepers at Flex
It's a tough week for byes with highly productive offenses like the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Buffalo Bills on the sidelines in Week 7. That makes fantasy football waiver wire additions even more important. Here are three flex options to consider adding.
All scoring projections based on standard fantasy football scoring rules.
Steve Breaston – Kansas City Chiefs

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
After a slow start to his career with Kansas City, Breaston showed signs of life in the team's two games before its bye. He totaled 26 points in those two weeks, including two touchdowns against the floundering Indianapolis Colts.
Coming off another week developing chemistry with Matt Cassel, he gets an Oakland secondary that ranks 17th against opposing fantasy wide receivers. He won't receive enough targets to become more than a flex option, but is a solid bye week replacement.
Week 7 Projection: 8 fantasy points
Doug Baldwin – Seattle Seahawks
Baldwin's situation is very similar to Breaston's. He had two strong games before the Seahawks' bye week. The only difference is that Baldwin had shown flashes of usefulness in Week 1, as well. Now he just needs to show more consistency.
Don't be worried about the possible return of Mike Williams, who is not a threat to steal snaps from Baldwin in the slot. If anything, it will force defenses to focus less on Baldwin and open up more chances for him down the field.
Week 7 Projection: 7 fantasy points
Montario Hardesty – Cleveland Browns
Browns starter Peyton Hillis is dealing with a hamstring pull, and his status for Sunday's game against Seattle is questionable. If he's forced to miss the game, Hardesty will get a chance to shine, albeit long after most people expected that opportunity to arise when he was drafted.
Given a full workload, Hardesty would be a must-start fantasy option, even against a Seahawks front seven that has been solid against the run. He's available in nearly 85 percent of ESPN leagues, so get him before it's too late.
Week 7 Projection: 5 fantasy points (with Hillis), 14 fantasy points (without Hillis)
