NFL Power Rankings Week 7: Tennessee Titans and Other Teams Set to Make a Move
Much like the French Revolution and pet rocks, Week 6 of the 2011 NFL season is a thing of the past. There's no point in dwelling on it any further.
Besides, looking ahead is more fun. The start of Week 7 is just days away, and you can rest assured that there is going to be plenty of action.
From the look of things, Week 7 is going to provide several teams with a chance to make a statement with big wins over tough teams. I'm not entirely sure that each of these teams will be successful in this regard, but there are four teams in particular that I think are going to get the job done.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Tennessee Titans (No. 13 overall)
After getting a week off to rest, relax and heal, the Titans will host the Houston Texans this Sunday.
The Titans could not be catching the Texans at a better time. They have lost two games in a row, and are dealing with a series of key injuries. The Titans already sit alone in first place in the AFC South, but they may never get a better chance to grab hold of it for good.
I think they will. I'm not entirely sure that the Titans are a better all-around team than the Texans, but it's easy to like their chances seeing as how they have home-field advantage against a banged-up team.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (No. 9 overall)
When they got blown out by the San Francisco 49ers, the Buccaneers looked like they were closer to being one of the worst teams in the league than they were to being one of the best teams in the league.
Next thing you knew, the Bucs were standing over a vanquished New Orleans Saints team. Who else wants some?
The Chicago Bears do. They're squaring off against the Bucs in London on Sunday, and they're bringing all their shortcomings with them. If the Bucs can exploit them in the same way the Saints, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions were able to do, they should have no trouble knocking off Da Bears.
San Diego Chargers (No. 6 overall)
When we last saw the Chargers in Week 5, they were having a hell of a hard time putting away Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos. That, for the record, was a sight that made you wonder just how good the Chargers are.
Admittedly, I'm probably one of the few people who are giving the Chargers the benefit of the doubt. They may be 4-1, but they still have much to prove.
A win on the road against the New York Jets this Sunday would do the trick quite nicely. The Chargers are coming off a bye week, and the Jets will be playing on short rest after their win on Monday night against the Miami Dolphins.
Also helping San Diego's cause is the fact that the Jets are not a very good team. You know it's true.
Detroit Lions (No. 5 overall)
Even before they lost to the San Francisco 49ers, we all knew that the Lions were a flawed team. It always was a matter of time before their flaws caught up with them.
However, don't make the mistake of thinking that the Lions are no longer a good team. They are, and they will remind everyone as much when they host the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
For what it's worth, I do think the Falcons are better than their 3-3 record indicates. But they have a very weak defense, and that's going to be trouble for them against a Lions offense that will be chomping at the bit after being held in check by the 49ers.
This is a game the Falcons could win, but I think the Lions will end up taking it.
