4:05pm, Clips of Tim Tebow and John Parker Wilson are showed, both , looking very efficient in their play.

4:14pm, pregame meal  turned out very good for me. I feel good about today. Florida predicted to win. Time to find out!

4:15pm  Alabama wins the toss and here goes the kickoff. Touch-back! Alabama starts on the 20.

4:16 pm Alabama starts with a run. 2nd and 7. Another run for Alabama. 3rd and five to go.

Big hit after a completed short pass and Alabama will punt!

4:17 Florida returns the punt to the 40 yard line. Good field position. 1st play a three-yard run. 2nd play. A 13-yard pickup. 1st down. No huddle offense going. Tebow pitches to the tailback for another 12 yards. 1st down.

4:20 pm  Tebow runs on 1st down for another 12 yards. 1st down. Wow! Tebow throws on 1st down. He gets almost 10 more yards. 2nd and inches to go on the seven. Tebow keeps it for a 1st down and goal on the four.

Tebow fakes a hand-off and keeps it again. 2nd and goal at the one.

4:23 Tebow stopped for a loss. 3rd and goal at the three. Tebow fires in the end zone. Touchdown, Gators.  7-0

4:27 Florida kicks off and stops the return on the 18. Wilson throws to Julio Jones and they gain 64 yards to Florida' s 18. Next play , 18 yard run, Touchdown , Alabama. Glen Coffey scores. A big pass play and a nice run, Tie game 7-7.  Double wow!

4:35pm  Alabama kicks off to Florida. Good coverage to stop Brandon  James at the 11 yard line.  A small running gain on 1st down. 2nd and nine. Florida gets stopped again, 3rd and nine at the 12. Incomplete pass. Florida punts to  Arenas. Good run back and 1st down for Alabama at the 25 yard line.

Florida's defense will get tested now. they gave up 2 big plays, while  Alabama is playing intensely right now.

4:42 pm  1st and 10 at the Florida 25 for Alabama.Wilson throws a play action pass for a 1st down at  the 12.   A Run for no gain. 2nd down. Another run for no gain. 3rd down. Wilson is chased out of the pocket and throws it away. Field goal attempt from 30 yards, good!  10-7  Alabama off a good special teams effort to get them there, this time.

4:47 pm  Alabama kicks off the the dangerous return man for Florida. Brandon James fields the kickoff and makes a nice run, but a penalty on Florida brings it back to the  16.

4:48 Tebow completes a short pass for about 5 yards. 2nd down.  A screen pass attempt comes up short. 3rd down. A long pass attempt is broken up. 4th down. 3 and out for the 2nd time in a row.

4:50 Fair catch by Alabama after a 49-yard punt.

4:50pm  1st and 10.  Coffey for a  9 yd gain.  Another run for Coffey. 1st down. Another run up the middle for about 4 yards. 2nd down. Wilson breaks away for 5 more yards. 3rd and about a 1/2 yard to go. 1st quarter ends. Alabama  10  Florida 7.

It is a really competitive game so far.

4:57 pm  3rd and a short yard. 1st down Alabama on a short run. Another good run for Alabama. 1st down. Another run gets stopped after a yard. 2nd and 9 at the 33 of Florida.Incomplete pass for Wilson. 3rd and 9. Timeout by Alabama.

Well, this is a lot of work , typing play by play action.This will be my longest article ever.

5:03 pm   A big blitz on Wilson who gets clobbered. Incomplete. A fake field goal attempt does not work. Florida saw that coming a mile away.  They are rewarded with good field position. That could hurt Alabama. Not so sure about that call by Saban.

5:06 PM  Florida starts at their own 34 yd line. Brandon James runs for about three. 2nd down. Tebow scrambles around under some pressure, incomplete.3rd down.Tebow runs for  10 yards. 1st down. Tebow throws to his roommate Riley Cooper on a stutter and go pattern down to the five-yard line . 1st down and goal to go.

False start . 1st and goal from the 10. Tebow runs for three yards. 2nd and goal from the seven.Tebow hands to the tailback for no gain. 3rd and goal from the seven. Tebow runs for it and gets stopped on the three-yard line. Field goal attempt by Florida,good. All tied up 10-10.

5:14 pm Florida kicks off. Arenas steps out of bounds on the five. 1st down and a long field for Alabama. 2nd down after a short gain. Alabama runs for four yards. 3rd and 5 to go.Incomplete pass. 4th down. Alabama will give Florida good field position again. Fair catch for Florida.

5:21 pm 7:19 to go in the half. Florida starts with good field position at about their own 40. Penalty on Alabama for a horse collar tackle on James. 1st down. Alabama 40.Tebow stopped on 1st down running. 2nd and 10. Tebow runs for six years. 3rd and four. Big run by Tebow. Quarterback power draw for a 1st down.

5:24 pm   Incomplete pass as he is almost sacked. 2nd and 10. 1st and goal on a pass to Aaron Hernandez. 1st down at the five.  Tebow is pursued for no gain, 2nd and goal. Tebow is stopped again for no gain. 3rd and goal. Tebow fires into the end zone, Touchdown, David Nelson. Point good.  Florida 17 Alabama 10.

This game is everything , anyone expected it to be!! Alabama needs to answer. If Florida scores again this half, it s going to be a tough road for Alabama to go down.

5:31 pm   Florida kicks off with three minutes left in the half.

1st down at the 22 for Alabama. A short completion to the running back Coffey. A short run for Coffey, but good enough for  a 3rd and one. 1st down on a two-yard one. Incomplete pass to stop the clock. 2nd down at the 32 of Alabama.Wilson almost sacked again, but Wilson throws it away. 3rd down and 10. An eight-yard completion and Alabama must punt.

5:35    30 seconds to go.  1st and 10 with 16 seconds to go.  Tebow downs the ball.

5:46  I am enjoying a break from the action with a nice cold A and W Cream Soda. Ahhh, very refreshing. I think i can safely say this will be the very best game re-cap ever written.

I hope everyone enjoys the commentary on this very important college football game this season.

6:03 pm  2nd half begins. Alabama kcks off. Florida starts on the 30 yard line. 2nd and five on a five-yard Tebow run. Tebow gets trapped on 2nd down. 3rd and seven. Trapped ball by the reciever. 4th down. Thats three times the Gators have gone three and out in the game.

6:06 pm  A huge kick by the punter, traps Alabama back at the 10. This is  a crucial series for the Tide and John Parker Wilson. They  can't afford a mistake pinned this deep.I expect we shall see three runs from here.

6:09   1st down at the 10.Oh, he throws, wow, incomplete at the 10. 2nd down.Coffey for two yards. 3rd and eight. They will load up against the pass this time. Watch out, ohhhh complete at the 28 to Julio Jones in one on one coverage, 1st down.Complete to Jones again, at the 37 yard line.

6:12 pm   Coffey hits a big hole for the 1st down. Good play mixing by Alabama this series. Play action from Wilson for another seven yards. 2nd and three. Coffey. 1st down to the Florida 40 yard line. Wilson hits Julio Jones again for 15 yards. 1st down on a great throw. Coffey runs for five yards in an impressive 1st half drive.  2nd and five. Overthrows a man in the end-zone. 3rd downand five. This is a big play. Coffey shakes a tackle and gets a first down.

6:17 pm 1st and 10.   Stopped for no gain. 2nd and 10. Time out Florida. Urban Meyer did not like the defensive set on the field.Alabama really looks poised and confident on this drive.Can the  Florida defense step up?

6:20 pm   2nd and 10. 7:32 to go in the 3rd quarter. Ingram close to the 5 for a  posible 1st and goal. 3rd and one. A yard and 1/2 gain. 1st and goal at the four. Touchdown for Ingram on a huge drive down the field for Alabama.  17-17. Tie game for the 2nd time on a 91-yard drive by Alabama. Wow, for the 3rd time.

6:25 pm Alabama kicks off to the ever dangerous kick returner for Florida , who has been quiet up to now. Can he break one, and give Florida good field position again? Brandon James fields the kick at the six and takes it to the  29.

1st and 10. Lewis Murphy catches a play action pass for 34 yards. 1st and 10. The Florida tailback rushes for seven. 2nd down. A run , right up the middle for a 1st down.

6:28 pm    a pitch to the tailback for a one yard gain. 2nd and 9. throws to the end-zone incomplete. 3rd and nine from the 25.Tebow throws incomplete. A field goal attempt coming up!   Phillips miises his 1st field goal this year from 42 yards, wide right.

1st down, Alabama at their own 25 yard line. Three minutes and 48 secondsto go in the 3rd quarter.  A 17-17 tie.

6:34 pm  Alabama starts their next drive.  On first down, they pass play action for 15 yards. 1st down.  Wilson runs for nine yards . 2nd and one.Coffey runs left for two yards. 1st down.  Coffey runs to the 37 for another 1st down.  A 1st down completion for Julio Jones down to the  12 , 1st down. Wilson throws for the end-zone. ohhhh, incomplete. 2nd down. Coffey for 2 yards.  3rd and eight at the 10-yard line. Wilson almost sacked, and gets away with an incompletion. Field goal try... good. Alabama leads 20-17.

The 4th quarter starts with Alabama leading Florida 20-17. Florida is having a lot of trouble stopping the run, which is really opening up the passing game for John Parker Wilson and Julio Jones.

Alabama kicks off to James, and he makes a couple of shifty moves and brings it back to around the 40 yard line.

6:42 pm. A defining moment for both teams is coming up on this drive, i've got a feeling.

1st down and Tebow starts with a  hand off for 8 yards.  2nd and two, and a run for a 1st down. 1st and 10 from around mid-field.  2nd and four on a six-yard run. A stop by Alabama and it s 3rd and three. OH, a big penalty, face mask on the defense, to stop the runner. 1st down. he was getting away.

6:49 pm  Good Patience by Tebow , drops it off to the safety valve for a 15 yard 1st down. Demps runs for five yards. 2nd and five. Tebow keeps it for no gain. 3rd and five on the 10. Shovel pass to hernandez, gets six yards. 1st down and goal. Tebow runs it to the 1/2 yard line. 2nd down. Tebow will run it in this down, I think! No, he pitchs to Demps, Touchdown, Florida on a very nice answering drive.  Wow, for the 4th time. 24-20 Florida.

This by far is the best football game of the year, for a national audience on CBS.

6:57 pm  Florida kicks off to Alabama with 9:21 to go. Arenas runs it back to the Alabama 35-yard line for good field position. 1st down and 10, Wilson goes deep for Julio Jones, incomplete . 2nd and 10.  A  two-yard rush. 3rd and eight for Alabama. Whoa, Wilson finally sacked by Florida in a big defensive series for the Gaotors.

7:00 PM James fields the punt and gets 4 yards on the return , then gets slammed. Gators by 4 and they have the ball again.

7:03 pm    Florida starts on the 35   yard line. On 1st down Demps rushes for 5 yards, 2nd and 5. Lewis Murphy on an end around for four yards. 3rd and one. A 1st down power run for Tebow, 1st down. Tebow is blitzed. But he picks it up, throws against one on one coverage for a big gain. 1st down. Tebow drills his reciever at the five for another 1st down.  1st and goal , and Tebow runs it down to the one. 2nd and goal, they are eating up the clock in big chunks now! Oops five-yard penalty, sideline interference, 2nd and goal from the six.

7:08 pm   3rd and goal for Florida. after a short gain. Tebow drills another pass in the end-zone. A perfect pass in the only place it could be! Touchdown with three minutes to go in the game.  31-20.

Well. Alabama has three minutres to prove me wrong! I predicted Florida would win 37-17 much to the chagrin of all the Bama faithful.  Florida is covering the seemingly large spread of 10 points.

7:12 pm   Florida kicks off for the last time most likely! Alasbama returns it to the 16, They have held the returns to a manageable number. Wilson goes down , but offsides on Florida, jumping the gun.  1st and five. 2:34 to go. John Parker Wilson completes one for 7 yards. 1st down.

7:15 pm   Play under review. That one will come back, the ball hit the ground. 2nd and 5 from the 22 yard line. 2:20 to go. Florida has done this all without their best player tonight. unreal. Just a huge team effort on the part of the Gators and Tebow. 

7:17 pm  Parker throws for a first down to the 33.   1st and 10, Parker tries to throw it away, and it sails into a Gators hands. Interception! That s all for Alabama with 1:31 to go.

Alabama has 3 time-outs left, but it s not going to do anygood now.

7:22 pm   Florida has the ball on the Alabama 30. Will they go for another score for BCS status? 

7:23 pm    Tebow is content to run out the clock . 1st and 10  he keeps it for two yards. Time out ,Alabama.  2 time outs left.

7:25 pm  1st down Florida on a nice run up the middle.

7:27 pm  Florida goes to the BCS Championship Game against Oklahoma if Oklahoma wins.
