Rumor Mill: Is Brandon Lloyd Headed to San Fran?
According to NFL.com, Brandon Lloyd is generating interest from the New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams and the San Francisco 49ers.
The article goes on to state the 49ers are generating the most interest of the three teams mentioned in proposed deals.
The 49ers sure could use receiver help. Wide receiver Josh Morgan suffered an ankle fracture in the waning minutes of last week's blowout win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was officially declared out for the season.

If a deal is struck between the 49ers and the Broncos, Lloyd will team up with Braylon Edwards, Michael Crabtree and Tedd Ginn, Jr. to form a very formidable wide receiver corps. Lloyd would be a perfect addition to a system that would fully utilize his speed in the open field.
Note: Lloyd previously played for the 49ers in the first three years of his career (2003-2006).
