Kyle Orton Trade Rumors: 3 Teams Who Would Be Smart to Deal for Bronco QB

Kyle Orton has asked the Denver Broncos to trade him before the trade deadline on Tuesday, according to reports from the Associated press. The former starter apparently sees the writing on the wall and wishes to leave Denver rather than have to sit behind Tim Tebow.

While Orton has denied the claims, here are three teams that could use him should the Broncos actually decide to do a deal.

Miami Dolphins

Chad Henne is gone for this season in Miami and could possibly be gone for good. Sounds like a very good time for the Dolphins to go out and get the guy they wanted to replace Henne with in the offseason.

Orton would be reunited with Brandon Marshall, who he made great touchdown connections with in Denver, and Miami would immediately be a better team.

Seattle Seahawks

The Tarvaris Jackson experiment is not working, and the Seahawks need to do something quick or their season will be finished by Halloween.

Orton gives the Seahawks a much better chance to win and takes some of the pressure off of Marshawn Lynch in that offense. Charlie Whitehurst is alright, but he’s no Orton, who can make all the throws and can lead an offense.

Minnesota Vikings

Donovan McNabb was a great player. The key word in that sentence would be was.

While McNabb did seem like the answer to all of the problems in Minnesota, it is clear by his benching Sunday night that he is not. Kyle Orton is a guy who is still young and could be the quarterback there for years to come, providing a possible long-term solution to a quarterback problem that has been band-aided temporarily for too long.
