Jim Harbaugh Fight: 5 NFL Coach Fights We'd All Pay to See
Watching Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz get into it today, we were all really thinking the same thing:
Who would win if they fought?
It’s an intriguing question to ask about any two people really, especially when those people literally hate each other’s guts. Luckily, the NFL is full of people who are exactly like that. So here are five NFL coach fights that we’d all pay good money to see.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
You knew as soon as you saw the headline that this one was coming. How could it not?
Rex Ryan has been baiting Bill Belichick for years now with taunts and challenges. Belichick has responded in pure Belichick fashion: silence. But deep down, we all know that Belichick thinks all kinds of nasty things about Ryan.
The two are polar opposites. One is a big blowhard, while the other is a silent, diabolical genius.
At first glance, you’d think Ryan would have a clear advantage, as he’s bigger and a more physically intimidating person. Then again, I would half expect Belichick to pull out a light saber or something.
Either way, I’d pay my hard-earned money to watch.
Tom Coughlin vs. Mike Shanahan
This matchup would be great for the following reason: I am literally terrified of both of these men. I don’t know why, but they both just seem very intimidating and mean.
Both have a Super Bowl victory, but Shanahan has two, which gives him a big ring on each hand that he could do serious damage with.
However, Coughlin’s skin looks like it’s made of stone, so it may Shanahan who suffers more from his rings.
The truth is, both these guys would just stare at each other until one of them broke down in tears and ran away.
Mike Tomlin vs. Jason Garrett
Both Mike Tomlin and Jason Garrett are young guys are probably still in pretty good shape. Both also played major diva positions: Jason Garrett as a quarterback and Mike Tomlin as a wide receiver.
Each of them appears to be on their way to becoming good NFL coaches, but Tomlin clearly is in the lead with a Super Bowl win under his belt.
Garrett is still probably the cockier of the two though; it’s a Dallas thing.
This fight would be won by whichever could outlast the other. Tomlin appears tougher, so I’d give the edge to him.
Jim Harbaugh vs. John Harbaugh
This is the only fight on this list that has definitely already happened.
Brothers fight. That’s just what they do. It’s not often that they are both head coaches in the NFL, but that’s what makes it awesome. One interesting thing about this matchup would be that each would know all the other’s tricks, leading to a crazy defensive battle in which each was able to predict what the other would do.
However, I have no idea who would win this fight because I literally can’t tell the different between the two when I see them on TV not wearing their team’s gear.
Ultimately, I’d have to put my money on Harbaugh.
Jim Harbaugh vs. Jim Schwartz
I just have to include this one. It just almost happened. This one was the ultimate tease, and I want to see it happen simply because it appeared very possible just a few short hours ago.
Two relatively young NFL head coaches with good, young teams just duking it out on the 50-yard line, while their respective teams watched from the sidelines.
I have to take Harbaugh here. Did you see how hard he slapped Schwartz on the back?
