Felix Jones Injury: Update on the Cowboys Running Back's Ankle Injury
Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones limped off the field in the second quarter with an ankle injury, but it doesn't appear to be serious. Jones is getting it wrapped on the sideline as I'm writing this, and FOX's Pam Oliver reported that he will return today, deeming him "fine."
Fantasy Impact
Jones has been a fantasy dud this season while healthy, so this injury doesn't necessarily change much.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He only has 241 rushing yards and one touchdown on the season.
I don't expect him to produce much in the second half.
Who's the Backup?
Rookie DeMarco Murray of Oklahoma will get the majority of the touches while Jones is ailing. He has 24 yards on five carries thus far.
Tashard Choice will also get some playing time today.
Devastation Scale
On a scale of 1-10, I'll say this injury registers as a three for the Cowboys. It's not severe enough to keep him out for multiple games, and they weren't going to use him much today, anyway.
Dallas is playing New England right now, which means Tony Romo will be throwing a ton of passes. Jones injury will surely have some impact, but I doubt it will be a turning point in the game.
Timeline for Return
Jones will return in the second half.
What They're Saying
As I've said, this isn't a very serious injury. Jones will be back soon.
