Dallas Clark Video: Watch Colts TE's Spectacular One-Handed TD Catch

Wes ODonnellOct 16, 2011

Dallas Clark doesn't have Peyton Manning tossing him the ball right now, and that just means he'll have to make more difficult catches from time to time when the few opportunities come his way.

On a 3rd-and-goal snap with about 9:30 left in the fourth quarter, everyone on the Bengals' defense bit on the play fake.

Clark faked blocking for a few seconds before releasing into the end zone, fielding a ball thrown a bit high by quarterback Curtis Painter.

The 6'3" tight end snagged the ball with just one hand and never even used his second to secure it. He basically grabbed the ball like he had glue on his one hand.

Clark finished the day with six catches for 53 yards and one touchdown. He was one of two Colts to lose a fumble during the game as well, but Pierre Garcon's proved to be much more damaging.

It came in yet another losing effort though, and the Colts are now 0-6 on the year and heading for what will be the worst season they've had since the year before Manning was drafted.

Clark's catch was one of the few highlights in the loss to the Bengals despite the improving play of Painter. He threw this touchdown to Clark as well one interception, but completed 23-of-34 passes against one of the league's best defensive units.

Things don't look bright in Indianapolis and fans, unfortunately, should enjoy highlights like this when they see them.

The catch was Clark's first touchdown of the year and only his 14th overall.
