IMPACT Wrestling: 10 Burning Questions Heading into Bound for Glory
The biggest show on the IMPACT calendar is finally here! Bound For Glory.
The card is stacked with nine matches with one of them even airing free on IMPACT Wrestling's Facebook page during the preshow.
There's some much anticipated matches heading into tonight. Matches like Bobby Roode vs. Kurt Angle, Sting vs. Hulk Hogan and AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels to name a few.
However, I do have some questions heading tonight's huge event...
Will the New Knockout Make a Difference?
1 of 10On IMPACT, we've seen Mexican America beat down Ink Inc. This mystery Knockout ran to the ring and took out Sarita and Rosita and proved to be a difference maker in the attack.
She's obviously on Ink Inc's side in this but does it really matter?
The match is between Jesse Neal, Shannon Moore, Hernandez and Anarquia. This isn't a mixed tag match and there's a good chance all of the Knockouts will get sent to the back anyway.
If the Knockouts aren't forced to leave ringside, still, does she make a difference?
There's two Knockouts from Mexican America and one from Ink Inc.
Sarita and Rosita have been big keys in Mexican America's success. Either running into the match or distracting the referee.
Can Ink Inc's newest Knockout addition keep Sarita and Rosita out of the way?
Knockouts Title Match?
2 of 10I can just put a giant question mark over this entire match.
Winter has been champion for roughly one month now. If she loses, she looks like a weak champion again.
Madison Rayne is in the match and she set the record for longest reigning Knockouts Champion. Some consider her a favorite in this match.
Mickie James is already a two time Knockouts Champion and this year's BFG will mark one year in the company.
Then there's Velvet Sky.
Many people predict Velvet is going to walk away new Knockouts Champion, myself included.
After this past IMPACT, I question whether Velvet will win after watching the confrontation between her and Knockouts VP, Karen Jarrett.
Velvet just wants respect from Karen and thinks winning the Knockouts Championship is key. Karen, the VP of the Knockouts, told Velvet the only way she'll be champion, is over her dead body.
When your boss tells you you're not getting something unless it's over their dead body, I kind of take a different route in my thinking.
Is Velvet ready to be champion? Or will the VP, Karen Jarrett, someone get involved and screw Velvet out of this chance?
Will Crimson Leave Philly Streak Intact?
3 of 10Crimson has been undefeated since January of this year. He's gotten wins over guys like Abyss, Samoa Joe, Rob Van Dam and even Kurt Angle. Crimson really looks like the real deal.
Now Crimson's streak faces another bump in the road...make that two actually.
"The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe and the seven foot tall "Blueprint," Matt Morgan.
Crimson has beaten Joe in the past but never faced off against Matt Morgan. Add into this Crimson's injured ankle at the hands of Samoa Joe, and can he overcome the odds to leave Philly with his streak intact?
Where Will RVD And/or Jerry Lynn Go After BFG?
4 of 10Has anyone else thought of this question?
It's a curious case of Rob Van Dam, really. Since his debut in TNA he's almost always been in the World title hunt. Think about it.
After Sacrifice this year, his title shots ended and he was hardly on TV. The BFG Series made RVD relevant again but was still rarely on TV.
Then Destination X rolls around and Jerry Lynn shows up and the two have been fighting ever since.
No matter the outcome of tonight's match, I have to wonder what IMPACT will do with either guy.
Lynn is 48 years old and I don't even know if he has a full-time IMPACT contract.
Where's RVD going to go after all this is settled? Will they push him back into the main event spotlight or will he slowly fade away from our TV screens again?
What's Jeff Hardy Up To?
5 of 10Jeff Hardy has been running around, asking for a second chance. Now, he just runs around and attacks Immortal.
He already hit Bischoff with a Twist of Fate and saved Beer Money from a beat down last Thursday.
After Jeff Jarrett told Hardy not to show up at BFG or even in the state of Pennsylvania, Hardy insisted he'd buy a ticket.
What's Hardy have in mind?
Will he just be another innocent fan in the stands or will he physically get involved in something tonight? Either way, I'm not feeling so positive about his presence at BFG.
Who's the Better Man; AJ Styles or Daniels?
6 of 10This match has all the potential to steal the show.
AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels, one more time.
This is being dubbed as the final match between the two and just to make sure we have a clear cut winner, why don't we add an "I Quit" stipulation, right?
AJ and Daniels are two of the top homegrown TNA talents available and, like RVD/Lynn, have to question where they'll go afterward.
Before we find out where they go after Bound For Glory, we have to find out who's the better man at Bound For Glory.
Who's it going to be?
AJ Styles? Or Daniels?
Will Hogan and Angle Keep Their Word About a "Good, Clean Match"
7 of 10I couldn't believe it either.
Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle actually promised their opponents a good, clean match for Bound For Glory. Can we really take their word for it?
Hulk Hogan is in a match where he put all the power in IMPACT on the line. If he loses, he gives the company back to Dixie Carter.
You really think Hogan won't have back-up for this high-stakes match?
We all seen how Angle won and even defended his World title so far. He had a dirty win every time. Hulk Hogan and/or Immortal always had to help Kurt retain.
With Angle's past reigns can we really trust him either?
Will We See James Storm?
8 of 10Storm not having a match worries me. It makes me think he'll interfere in the World Title match. Who he'll help, I don't know.
Ever since Bobby Roode won the BFG Series, Storm has been calm and supportive of Roode winning and main eventing BFG for the top prize the company has to offer.
Is Storm really happy for Roode? Or will it be Bobby Roode who'll be "sorry 'bout his damn luck" by the end of the night?
Where Will the Power Stand? Is Change Really Coming?
9 of 10The winner of Hogan vs. Sting will be awarded all the power in IMPACT Wrestling.
Where will the power stand after that match?
Sting has promised change and promised not to leave until he cuts the cancer out of IMPACT. If Sting were to win, what changes would come with it, if any?
Is Bobby Roode Ready?
10 of 10Most of us in the IWC say Roode is ready. Then there's some people who say Roode is not ready.
At the end of the day, we're not the ones making the decisions. Our opinions will really have little to no effect on this match. It can end in tons of different ways.
Majority of the fans think Roode is ready but do IMPACT officials have the same thoughts?
