NFL Predictions Week 6: Aaron Rodgers and 4 QBs Guaranteed to Dominate

Jon DoveOct 16, 2011

Aaron Rodgers, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tom Brady and Michael Vick will all have big days, as they lead their team to victory.  Looking at this list you see three perennial Pro Bowlers and then Ryan Fitzpatrick.  Fitzpatrick appears ready to put himself in the discussion with the rest of the top quarterbacks.

Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers appear to have an easy matchup this weekend, versus the St. Louis Rams.  The Rams are one of the league's winless teams, not playing very competitive football.  The offense ranks near the bottom of any major category.

If Sam Bradford is unable to sustain drives he will have Rodgers more opportunities.  At this point, it is safe to say that Aaron Rodgers is expected to have a big game every week.

Ryan Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick is quickly winning over the Buffalo Bills, as he is trying to convince them he is the long-term quarterback solution. A victory today would put the Bills at 5-1, with a very good shot at making the playoffs.

They have a tough matchup, traveling to take on the New York Giants.  The Giants defense will be bring a ton of pressure, as they try to create turnovers.  It will be up to Fitzpatrick to make good decisions and protect the football.

Tom Brady

The New England offense has been operating like a machine.  Even when Brady threw his four interceptions, they managed to score 31 points.  I don't feel there is a defense in the entire NFL that can completely shut down Brady.

The Patriots have become a team that focuses on passing the ball.  The Dallas Cowboys can bring pressure and get to the quarterback, but their secondary is shaky.  If the Patriots can provide good protection, Brady will have another big passing day.

Michael Vick

Vick is on this list because he has to have a big game.  The Eagles cannot afford another loss, especially versus a division rival.

The Washington Redskins defense is a very good unit, capable of bringing a lot of pressure.  They will be looking to take advantage of a weak Eagles offensive line.

However, the X-factor is Vick, who is capable of avoiding the rush.  I expect Vick to make some big plays as he is flushed out of the pocket.
