Steven Gerrard welcomed himself back into the first team with a brilliant free kick goal against Manchester United on Saturday in the latest edition of the Northwest Derby.

It is the second time he has managed to slot one home against the Red Devils from a set piece in the last two seasons and it is hopefully not his last.
