Fantasy Football Week 6: Steve Johnson and More Struggling WRs Who Will Step Up
Sometimes receivers struggle because of tough matchups. After all, not many receivers are going to do too well when matched up against some of the game's best cornerbacks.
Sometimes, all that someone needs is a nice change of pace and the fantasy points are going to come back.
These guys might have had a tough week or two, but put them in your lineup. Not only will you not regret it, you will probably end up being quite happy with it.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Steve Johnson
Johnson caught a touchdown in each of the first three weeks of the season. The last two weeks have not been as kind.
But now, he's in a much more favorable matchup against a beaten up Giants secondary that's had a problem stopping receivers this year.
Johnson will find his form again. It wouldn't at all surprise me if he made a return trip to the end zone, and also had a near 100-yard receiving day. The last two weeks don't reflect how good and valuable Johnson actually is.
Jordy Nelson
Nelson has had some big games this year. But in two of his last three games, he's been held to 40 yards or fewer without a single touchdown reception.
Last week, he was one of 12 Packers to catch a pass, but only had three catches for 17 yards. The Falcons are challenged defensively, but it doesn't compare to what the Rams have to deal with.
I fully expect a few big plays from Nelson this week. I don't know that he'll get to 100 yards, but somewhere above 50 with at least one touchdown wouldn't be at all surprising.
With Josh Morgan out for the year and without Braylon Edwards, the 49ers don't have any other reliable options at receiver. Granted, tight ends Vernon Davis and Delanie Walker will be featured heavily, but Crabtree will get plenty of attention.
Detroit hasn't done a great job defending receivers this year, so a good point day for Crabtree is likely. Coming off an injury, he's been babied back into the offense, but that can't happen anymore.
Look for the 49ers to target Crabtree a lot in Detroit.
