Week 6 Fantasy Football Rankings: Arian Foster and Other Stars Who Will Be Tamed

I am not necessarily saying that these guys should be benched. If you look at your team and see viable options at backup, then bench them. If not, you should probably leave these guys in your lineup.

But given where you likely drafted these guys, they will probably not perform in the way that you have come to expect.

So, if you have these guys, just hope that you are either in a low scoring matchup, or have other big scoring guys in the lineup.

Arian Foster

Against the Raiders last week, Foster ran for only 68 yards. I thought that he might be in for a big day against the Raiders' rushing defense. The Texans would certainly rely heavily on him with Andre Johnson, and the Raiders' run defense leaves a lot to be desired.

But 68 yards for a back of Foster's caliber is a rather dismal day. Now, Johnson is still not in the lineup, and Matt Schaub is banged up. Lastly, they are playing the Ravens' defense. The Ravens will gear up for the run, which will cripple Foster's numbers.

Matt Schaub

I guess this is my way of saying that I really don't like the Texans' chances in this game. I'm always okay with being proven wrong, but I don't see it here.

Schaub is banged up now and while he had a huge yardage day against the Raiders, he just didn't come through when he had to.

Schaub made far too many mistakes. Against the Raiders, you can still have a good stats day with mistakes. Against the Ravens, you can't get away with that.

Consider that, and consider that he will be banged up and again, without Andre Johnson. Look to other options.

Dallas Clark

Even without Peyton Manning, it was inconceivable to think of Clark as an afterthought, but that's what he has turned in to this season.

Curtis Painter is just not throwing the ball Clark's way. I would suggest you try to trade him to a person who likes name value guys. You can probably land a really nice deal that way.
