Buffalo Bills vs. New York Giants: Spread Info, Line and Predictions

Andrew KulhaOct 14, 2011

Nobody circles the wagons quite like the Buffalo Bills, and that's something the New York Giants are going to have to find out the hard way in their Week 6 NFL matchup.

The Bills have come out of nowhere to steal the top spot in the AFC East from the New England Patriots and impress the rest of the league.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has stepped up to show the NFL world that he is indeed a legitimate quarterback, and running back Fred Jackson is arguably the best back in the league right now.

The New York Giants are coming off a big loss at home to the Seattle Seahawks, so this game would be a big redemption moment not only for their home fans, but for their seasons.

Unfortunately, the Bills are arguably the hottest team in the AFC, and the Giants are one of the most inconsistent in the NFC.

Where: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

When: Sunday Oct. 16. 1 p.m EST

Watch: CBS

Spread: New York Giants -3

This is a pretty easy spread to cover, if the Giants were to win.

Over/Under: 50

The Bills score a lot, and so have the Giants as of late. This is a good bet to go over.

Key Injuries:

Buffalo: Tackle Demetrius Bell out (shoulder), wide receiver Donald Jones out (ankle), linebacker Chris Kelsay out (calf), cornerback Aaron Williams out (chest), linebacker Shawne Merriman doubtful (achilles), linebacker Nick Barnett questionable (ankle), safety Da'Norris Searcy questionable (ankle), tackle Kyle Williams questionable (foot).

New York Giants: Cornerback Prince Amukamara out (foot), running back Henry Hynoski out (neck), running back Brandon Jacobs out (knee), guard Chris Snee out (concussion), defensive end Justin Tuck out (groin), center David Bass questionable (neck), long snapper Zak DeOssie questionable (concussion).

Fantasy Big Plays:

Start: Continue to start Fred Jackson until he proves you wrong, and then keep starting him. He is the best back in the league right now and a huge fantasy option.

Sit: Giants quarterback Eli Manning is far too inconsistent to trust as a fantasy quarterback. That, plus the Bills are very opportunistic on defense.

Keys To Buffalo Win:

Give the ball to Fred Jackson and let him lead you to the promised land. It's literally that simple for the Bills.

Keys To New York Giants Win:

The defense needs to come together and put pressure on Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Bills offense. The Giants know how to sack the quarterback, so they need to apply that in full this weekend.

Prediction:

The Giants have the home field advantage, but the Bills have the magic.

Bills: 37 Giants: 24
