NFL Predictions Week 6: Chicago Bears & More Teams That Will Save Their Seasons
Whether some teams would like to admit it or not, this is a huge week of football. A lot of focus seems to be on the game between the 49ers and Lions, but either of those teams will be fine with a loss.
Other teams need a win. If they can't figure out how to win this week, they might as well start planning their winter vacations right now. They may come back with decent seasons, but the playoffs will not happen.
Fortunately, the matchups are good enough that they can rely on a win, at least this week.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Chicago Bears
The matchup is relatively good for the Bears. There are some pitfalls, but their pass defense will get a nice break this week against Donovan McNabb.
I do expect a good game from Adrian Peterson and I also expect Jared Allen to give Jay Cutler fits. Still, I do like the Bears' chances at pulling this one out.
I don't like their chances at making the playoffs, but they will survive this week.
New York Jets
Both of these teams are a mess right now. They have a lot of question marks hanging over their heads.
Given that they are both in a state of disarray, I will go with the home Jets in this one. Also, while they have struggled on offense, they will dominate Miami's offense.
The Jets need to figure something out in a big way. But they will at least get a one-week stay of execution.
Atlanta Falcons
This is the game listed here that I am least certain of. The Falcons still have a lot of talent from last year's 13-3 team, but the Panthers are maybe the most dangerous 1-4 team in the history of the NFL right now.
Cam Newton is setting the NFL on fire right now, so I am expecting a lot of points.
Still, the Falcons' overall balance and home-field advantage should take them over the top in this one.
