Week 6 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Greg Jennings and the 3 WRs You Must Start

Chris TrapassoOct 14, 2011

Greg Jennings is just one of the many weapons at Aaron Rodgers' disposal within the Green Bay Packers' powerful offensive attack.

With that being said, Jennings is arguably Rodgers' favorite target and certainly his go-to-man on the go-routes.

No. 85 can fly.

Against the St. Louis Rams at home this week, expect Jennings to be part of the onslaught early. You most likely didn't need advice to start any Packers wideouts, but just thought I'd throw that in there to start.

Which other pass-catchers are bound for big games this weekend?

Let's take a look.

(Before I begin, obviously, you've got to start Calvin Johnson and Wes Welker regardless of their opponent. I'm not here to waste your time.)

Hakeem Nicks

The Bills have been the most opportunistic defense this season, having forced a whopping 12 interceptions through five games.

It's one of the reasons why they're 4-1.

However, the defensive backfield has allowed a ton of yardage and hasn't shown any ability to consistently stop the pass.

Nicks is one of the more talented receivers they've faced so far and he should have no problem catching between seven to 10 passes for 100-plus yards.

Steve Smith

Steve Smith is back.

You gotta love it.

He's as feisty as ever and is making big plays like he did in the mid-2000s for Jake Delhomme. Against a weak Falcons secondary that's allowing 294 aerial yards a game, Smith is bound for another huge afternoon.

He'll be targeted often in a game that could turn into a high-scoring affair.

Miles Austin

A little worried that Austin won't be productive coming off an injury?

Don't be.

The Patriots have the worst pass defense in the league and he'll return as one of Tony Romo's favorite targets in a game that has shootout written all over it.

There's no way New England's secondary can match up with Jason Witten, Dez Bryant and Austin.

Get Austin in your lineup.
