NFL Picks Week 6: Which Teams Are the Riskiest Bets?
If you're unsure as to which teams to take this week in the NFL, allow this to help make your decision a little easier.
It's hard enough trying to pick winners without the betting line, but with it—well, in some cases you should just bust out the hieroglyphics, because it can be that difficult to decipher.
So to that end, here are three teams to avoid in Week 6, as they are the riskiest of bets.

Philadelphia (favorite) at Washington (underdog) -1.5
The Eagles are 1-4 and playing on the road against a 3-1 Redskins team, but they are still the favorites.
Apparently what Philly did to Washington in 2010 is taking effect, because otherwise this line won't happen.
For one, the 'Skins should be favored, but since their bandwagon still has room, and those who jumped off Philly's are left in no-man's land, fans are still unsure of whom to join and where to go.
And rightfully so, as 2011 has been an odd year of sorts.
That being said, stay away from Philadelphia this week, because not only will the Redskins win, but they'll win by more than 1.5 points.
Their have a top-10 defense, and their offense will pound the rock and keep the Eagles' offense off the field.
Take the points and the Redskins.
NY Giants (favorite) vs Buffalo (underdog) -3
This game is a tough line because the Bills are susceptible on the road; but at the same token, the Giants are susceptible at home (figures).
With that in mind, however, Buffalo has clearly played more consistently and is the better team coming in.
And although their defense allows a lot of points, they know how to force turnovers, and New York doesn't know how to score like Buffalo's offense.
In turn, the Bills have arguably the best two-back tandem in football with Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, while the Giants have also been dealing with some injuries.
Something has to give, and if there's any doubt, always take the points.
Take the points and the Bills.
Atlanta (favorite) vs Carolina (underdog) -4
Although the Atlanta Falcons are 4-point favorites in this one, they are the franchise on the downswing, while the Carolina Panthers are on the upswing.
Also, although Carolina is 1-4, Atlanta is only 2-3 and knows how to blow a lead.
In Week 4, Atlanta held a 27-7 lead over Seattle on the road, but only managed to win 30-28. Last week, the Falcons were up 14-0 over the Green Bay Packers halfway through the second quarter, but they failed to increase their point total and ultimately fell 25-14.
As for Carolina, they may have four losses, but all have been by one score and have come against teams with a combined record of 12-8.
Carolina is very capable of winning this game, but they like to keep things close, and the Falcons are too risky to trust after their inconsistency this season.
Stay away from this game if you can; but if not, then take the points and the Panthers.
