NFL Trade Rumors: Brandon Lloyd Headlines Possible Players on the Move
It seems as if there has never been this many teams that have been trying to move players at the NFL trade deadline, in the history of the trade deadline. Normally, when the NFL trade deadline comes up, it passes without anything happening.
That’s because it’s hard for teams to make trades that are successful. Teams that acquire new players have get that player up-to-speed on their offense or defense, players have to get accustomed to a new locker room and unlike other leagues where a player has 20 or more games before the playoffs, in the NFL they have 10 to 11 games before the playoffs.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This year, there are a number of players that are rumored to be on their team’s “Trade Block.”
These teams all have the same things in common, they have horrible records after five games and they all have a need for potential No. 1 draft pick at the upcoming NFL Draft, Andrew Luck.
Denver Broncos rumored to trade Wide Receiver: Brandon Lloyd
According to CBS News' Bailey Johnson, The team is reportedly looking for a third- to fifth-round draft pick in exchange for Lloyd. With the NFL trade deadline coming up next Tuesday, Denver may be looking to deal Lloyd in a hurry.
Indianapolis Colts rumored to trade Wide Receiver: Reggie Wayne
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter while on ESPN Radio, that “The Colts should trade veterans Reggie Wayne and Robert Mathis for 4th round picks in the 2012 NFL Draft. Schefter made the suggestion as part of a segment where he and the host were 'playing GM,' suggesting what moves should be made before the NFL's trading deadline, which is next week.”
With Peyton Manning is still rehabbing his neck and the emergence of Pierre Garçon as Curtis Painters’ favorite receiver, it make sense for the Colts to deal the Pro Bowl receiver for draft picks.
Miami Dolphins rumored to trade Wide Receiver: Brandon Marshall
According to Greg Cote’s blog from the Miami Herald, titled, “Evidence of a Cluttered Blog”, “Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall yesterday announced he'd be turning up the intensity vs. the Jets Monday night, but chose some curious ways to say it. "I don't care if I have penalties, it doesn't matter," he said. Additionally, "My goal is to get thrown out midway though the second quarter. Hopefully I achieve that."
As Cote goes onto suggest, “If Marshall is serious, if he does get himself ejected, then we may surmise his was an orchestrated plan to get himself traded before Tuesday's deadline.”
The Dolphins are the team that needs Andrew Luck the most. If they do make a trade sending Marshall away, it sends a message to their fans and to the NFL that they are tanking their season for the No. 1 pick.
Remember, these are all rumors for now. How many of these receivers are dealt by Tuesday’s deadline is any ones guess.
Which ever team does make a move, it will send a season from bad to horrible for their fans.
