NFL Rumors: Todd Haley May Be One Loss Away from Losing Chiefs Altogether
Thank goodness for bye weeks. The Kansas City Chiefs could use a week to cool off as reports have their head coach's seat completely on fire.
You can hardly blame Todd Haley for the mess that the Kansas City Chiefs find themselves in. The 2010 AFC West winners have been mired in a season of injuries.
They are currently 2-3, with a week of rest and relaxation culminating this Sunday. Two wins isn't bad considering what this team has been through, bearing in mind what other contenders like the Jets, Bears and Eagles have put on the field.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
According to Nick Wright of 610 Sports Radio in Kansas City, things have reached some new lows behind the scenes.
Wright tweeted the possible firing that would have taken place had the Chiefs lost their last game to the Colts last Sunday.
I think a warm thank you from Haley to his guys is in order. The Chiefs may want a heaping dose of patience as well. This is the same coach that delivered the division to Kansas City just a season ago.
You have to consider that the Chiefs have been hit hard by the injury bug early on. Starters Eric Berry, Jamaal Charles and Tony Moeaki have all been lost at some point, derailing what could still be a division winner.
What the Chiefs could use right now is a consistent effort and that comes from the top down. I agree that a coaching change refreshes the team, but only in certain cases.
The Chiefs would do well to keep Haley on for a while longer. This bye week is the best thing for a team that is in full panic mode at the moment.
