Arron Asham Fight Video: Watch Jay Beagle Take a Nap After Asham Punch

Down goes Beagle. Down goes Beagle.

Two bitter rivals squared off Thursday night. leading to a boxing match in the middle of a hockey contest, and it was awesome.

Jay Beagle got called for roughing Kris Letang, so Arron Asham came over to have words. That's when Beagle and Asham became entangled in your average, run-of-the-mill hockey fight.

On the contrary, this had more scintillating moves than most boxing matches. Beagle looks like he has the clear advantage, making me think Asham has made a horrible mistake in stoking the fires.

Out of nowhere, Asham flips the script on him. He rails on Beagles face until the Capitals players relents. I swear I could hear Asham say, "You go night-night now, you go night-night now." That could have just been me though.

Beagle does indeed take a nap, and then proceeds to bleed all over the ice. That was the quickest turn of events I have seen all week.

I was convinced that Asham was going to get his just desserts, only to see Beagle make the horrible mistake of relenting enough to allow Asham to get his bearings.

That is all needed to meet the wide open chin of Jay Beagle. The best part of the video has to be Asham skating away as he gives the "he's done" sign into a "he is now asleep" motion.

Not only did he win the fight, he commanded the most swagger on the ice. If you need Jay Beagle, I am sure you can reach him under the massive amounts of ice and painkillers he is on.

I can't wait for Beagle versus Asham II. That would definitely be a pay-per-view I can get behind.
