Tim Tebow Receives Words of Praise from Former Head Coach
Tebow time is finally upon us.
I would be lying if I said that I haven't been looking forward to this day since Tim Tebow was drafted last season.
Finally, we will be able to put speculation aside. The Broncos have announced that Tebow will be starting when the team returns from their bye in Week 7.

Actually, I suppose that means we have another week to speculate.
Former Gators coach Urban Meyer has no doubt that Tebow will be successful with the Broncos.
On SportsRadioInterviews.com, Meyer elaborated on why he has such a strong belief that Tebow will succeed.
""Same reason he was in high school and won the state championship and the national championship in college. Football is still football, whether it’s the spread offense, whether it’s the West Coast or I-formation. Competitors usually find ways to win games. Tim’s going to be successful, no doubt. I just hope that the Denver Broncos have enough firepower and they just get better as a team. I’m a Broncos fan now and I want to see those guys do well and one guy doesn’t change a team. Tim Tebow had a lot of success at Florida because he had Aaron Hernandez and Percy Harvin and Louis Murphy and the Pounceys. He had really good players that played well around him and an excellent defense."
"
Let me translate to simpler terms.
Tebow will be amazing. If the Broncos lose, it will be because of the rest of the team. Tebow will be amazing either way.
I for one have been fairly tough on Tebow. I don't think that he is going to succeed at the professional level.
I still hope he does.
That doesn't mean that he should be given passes just because he is Tebow. If the guy performs poorly, then he needs to be treated like a below average quarterback.
It's tough pushindg the clouds of previous judgement aside, but it's something that will need to be done now that Tebow has his shot in Denver.
