NFL Predictions Week 6: The Cincinnati Bengals and Other Week 6 Winners

Here is a tip for all you survivor and pick 'em players: You will want to take the following teams in Week 6.

The Cincinnati Bengals lead the way as winners in what will be an arduous weekend of football. 

You couldn't ask for a more even weekend. The chances to watch some blowouts are slim, making this a great week to cancel all Sunday chores you thought you needed to take care of. 

If you are still alive in your survivor league, or happen to need a boost in your weekly pick 'em, heed this advice that will have you moving onto Week 7 with brilliant results:

1. Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals get a Colts team that seems to be getting its act together after what has been a disastrous start. 

The Colts have flirted with a win in the last couple weeks, and they will do so again on Sunday. But I have to side with the Bengals' defense to rattle the shaky Colts offense enough for the home win.

2. Washington Redskins

There is hope on the horizon for Eagles fans. The team called a players-only meeting this week to set things right after early-season turmoil. 

I don't see them getting over a Redskins team that matches up very well against them, though. The Redskins have a versatile defense that should keep Mike Vick in the middle of the field. 

More than that is the running game. The Eagles are atrocious against the run, and the Redskins will throw three different running backs against them.

Week 6 will see Washington best the Dream Team. 

3. Baltimore Ravens

A couple weeks ago I would have loved to pick the Texans over the Ravens.

In that time, Houston has lost one of their biggest stars on each side of the line, and the Ravens have flourished. 

It's a shame that we will not see what could have been a gritty game between two like-minded clubs. On Sunday, the Ravens will get out to a commanding lead—and keep it.
