Vikings Head to Detroit with High Hopes
Well the Vikings are headed to Detroit. The real question at this point is: Will Kevin and Pat Williams be there as well? The NFL has now filed a suit that will be heard tomorrow morning, and will determine whether or not the suspension will be upheld regarding both Kevin and Pat.
Should be an interesting session of court, as if this is upheld, we may head into an area that the NFL has never gone—the courtroom. Look for players to really start fighting some of these suspensions if this is upheld.
That said, this is a game the Vikings should win. Key word: "should". As a longtime fan, this is also a game I am worried about. Games like this simply scare me. The Lions are playing with nothing to lose.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Vikings are still in a "must win" mode, with the Bears sitting with their next three games in Soldier Field.
Anyone remember Cardinals-Vikings back in December 2003? Yep, I was there for that debacle. Coach Childress needs to find a way to motivate these guys this weekend. Looking ahead to Atlanta two weeks from now is not an option.
As for AP he should have a field day. He's a bit banged up, but I think if he gets 25 carries, he should go off on a porous Detroit defense. Frerotte, by the same token should have a little more time to throw the ball, meaning guys like Berrian and Shiancoe should have pretty good showings.
Look for the Vikings to throw the ball early, and then revert to their bread and butter with AP and Chester Taylor in the second half, as they should open up a nice lead.
Defensively, Jared Allen, assuming Kevin and Pat Williams play, should really go off again this weekend. After being named defensive POW this past week, he could repeat that feat. The Vikings defense should dominate this game, assuming the Williams' are playing.
Either way, look for Minnesota to shake off some of the skeptics this week. And if they lose, well we can always start talking about the upcoming April Draft...
