Fantasy Football: 3 St. Louis Rams Who Will Step Up Against Green Bay Packers
The Rams take on the Packers this weekend. According to most people with a brain, you might want to cover your eyes, because the Packers will probably kill the Rams.
Me, I guess I'm just not that smart, because I think the Rams will compete.
I think the Rams actually have a fighting chance. Sure, the Packers have the best offense in the NFL, led by Aaron Rodgers, who plays quarterback like Hendrix played guitar. And you don't have to remind me, the Rams pass protection has been so weak that they might have a hard time blocking against good high school players.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I know all of that. I just think the Rams are better than they've played so far.
If they are going to break out, it has to be this weekend. They are coming off of a bye week. They should be well prepared. Most of all, they are playing the best team in the world! If any player on the Rams' roster can't get up for this game, then he should be cut after the game. As John Wooden said, "Competitive greatness is playing your best when your best is needed."
That time would be Sunday afternoon, at Lambeau Field, against the World Champion Packers.
I'm not saying the Rams will win, but I think they will compete. In order to do that, these three players are going to have to step up:
1) Steven Jackson
For a long time now, Jackson has been the Rams best player. He is a leader on this team. The Rams have no chance to win this game unless Jackson carries the ball at least 25 times and has a pretty hefty average.
If Jackson carries the load for the Rams offense, it gives them a fighting chance to win. That also means he would score a ton of points for your fantasy team this weekend.
2) Sam Bradford
Sam the Ram is going to need a lot of help from his receivers, and he is going to need protection from his offensive line. Those are two big "ifs" right now, but "if" Bradford can get any help whatsoever, he should be able to put up some yards against the Packers.
Bradford has been a lot better than his numbers indicate so far this season, but his receivers have dropped a ton of easy passes. If they catch those balls this weekend, Bradford could be a fantasy football star, and the Rams would at least have a puncher's chance to stay in this game.
3) Lance Kendricks
The rookie tight end has been a huge disappointment so far this season, mostly because he keeps dropping passes at crucial moments during the game. Here is the bright spot—Kendricks can get open! On several of his drops, if he would have just caught the ball, it would have been a huge gain, maybe even a touchdown.
You also have to remember, Kendricks is a Wisconsin native, and he is jacked up to go home and play in front of family and friends. I would bet my last dollar that Kendricks has a breakout game this weekend.
If he plays well, that is going to really help Bradford. If the defense has to respect Bradford, it is going to open up the ground game for Jackson. Kendricks has a lot of talent, and if you are searching for a tight end who might have a huge game this weekend, Kendricks is your guy. He is too good to keep dropping these easy passes.
