NFL Picks Week 6: Green Bay Packers and Heavy Favorites Sure to Cover
There aren't many safe bets in a parity driven NFL. Teams are generally pretty close.
Still, there are some games where one team is heavily favored and where the favorite is the best bet. Actually, in the case of these games, the favorite is in the only logical bet.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Green Bay Packers (-15.5) over St. Louis Rams
Looking at these two teams, this doesn't seem like much of a matchup. Yes, I know that the Rams' 0-4 record is a little misleading. They have played a very tough opening schedule.
Here's the problem with that argument though, and it's not a small one: The Packers are better than any team who the Rams have faced yet this year.
So, unless the Rams are extremely prepared coming off of a bye, this is going to get ugly. Given the amount of weapons that Aaron Rodgers is going to have, I don't see that making much of a difference.
Baltimore Ravens (-8) over Houston Texans
No Mario Williams. No Andre Johnson. A banged-up Matt Schaub. In Baltimore, I really can't see this one going well.
Now, I do see this as a potential playoff preview. In that, the Texans would theoretically have Johnson and a healthy Schaub.
But in this one, I just don't like their chances. Baltimore's defense will give the Texans a lot of problems.
New England Patriots (-7) over Dallas Cowboys
The Patriots are showing off another dimension to their game, and that should have fans excited. When a one-dimensional team has Tom Brady and a great passing attack as its one dimension, they can go a long way.
Now, they are starting to run the ball a lot more. That will give Rob Ryan more of a challenge when devising a game plan.
The Cowboys will score some points in this one, but a shootout against a balanced Patriots offense isn't exactly a winning scenario.
