Week 6 Fantasy Football Rankings: Michael Turner Leads RBs That Will Run Wild
As important as quarterbacks have become in fantasy football, there are plenty of running backs that are still capable of putting teams on their respective backs and winning weekly matchups with outstanding performances.
Passing the ball is certainly now en vogue in the NFL, but here are three running backs that will have monster weeks and give you a great chance to win in Week 6.
Cedric Benson - Cincinnati Bengals

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Despite the fact that Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson was supposed to have been suspended a couple weeks ago, he continues to play while his appeal is processed. In the meantime, Benson has been running with a purpose and looks far better than he did last season with 401 yards through five games.
With rookie quarterback Andy Dalton under center, the running game is absolutely essential. Expect Benson to be utilized heavily this weekend against the 0-5 Indianapolis Colts, who boast the league's 31st-ranked rushing defense. Every game could conceivably be Benson's last before his suspension kicks in, so expect another inspired performance.
Adrian Peterson - Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is obviously a candidate to go off each and every week, but he has a particularly delectable matchup on Sunday night against the Chicago Bears. The Bears have long been known for their defensive excellence, but defense has been a major issue in 2011.
The Bears are one of the league's worst teams against the run, and Peterson is clearly one of the league's best and most complete runners. He has nearly 500 yards rushing and six touchdowns through five games and is clearly the focal point of Minnesota's offense. The Vikings recommitted to the running game last week and were rewarded with a huge victory, so expect that to continue.
Michael Turner - Atlanta Falcons
Despite Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner's success on the ground this season, the Falcons' offense has been far more predicated on the passing game. Obviously that hasn't gotten them too far as they currently sit at 2-3. With the Carolina Panthers on tap in Week 6, I expect the Falcons to strike a much better balance on offense.
The Panthers have struggled to stop the run this season, so Turner should be in for an excellent game. He has 360 yards and four touchdowns on just 84 carries, so he is very capable of putting up monster numbers with an increased workload. A great performance will also bode well for Turner's fantasy value moving forward as the Falcons will likely ease up on the aerial theatrics.
