Pacquiao has looked great while beating his last few opponents including: David Diaz, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, and Shane Mosley.

With his current streak of beating top-notch opponents, this third match with Marquez should be a lot different than the first two as Pac Man has stepped his game up a notch.

2 of 8

After fighting most of his career in the featherweight and lightweight divisions, even a catch weight of 144 will still prove to be too much of a change for Marquez. Pacquiao has been fighting in the welterweight division much longer and is comfortable in the weight class.

Expect Marquez to take a fair amount of punishment from Pacquiao, making a knockout victory not out of the question for Pacman.

Juan Manuel has been telling anyone who will listen that he won the first two fights between himself and Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao has heard this, and is using it as extra motivation.

Pacquiao told The Philippine Star how he is putting Marquez's trash talk to good use.

"

“This fight, this will be the answer to all of the doubters about whether or not I lost to my opponent.” Pacquiao said.

"

Not that Pacquiao needs it, but any extra motivation cannot hurt. Pacman will definitely turn the negative talk into positive energy during the fight.

5 of 8

After Floyd Mayweather's controversial knockout of Victor Ortiz, all the buzz surrounding boxing has been following Mayweather. Pacquiao will look to add some buzz around himself with an impressive victory.

With the whole world wanting Pacquiao and Mayweather to fight each other, when one fighter is in the spotlight, the other fighter has to do the best he can to steal some attention.

In this case, Pacquiao should be looking for a KO of his own to compete with all the talk that was going on after the Mayweather-Ortiz fight last month.

Marquez Has Had Little Activity in the Last Year

6 of 8

Although Juan Manuel Marquez last fought Likar Ramos this past July, the fight only lasted around two minutes, and did not really benefit Marquez for a showdown with Manny Pacquiao. After all, the first two fights went the distance.

Marquez's last fight before his bout with Ramos was back in November of 2010. So it has been basically one year since Marquez has seen any real action in the ring.

Look for Marquez to take a few rounds to get accustom to in the ring action, which will not bode well with a focused, and primed Pacquiao.

Marquez's Counter-Punching Style May Backfire

7 of 8

Juan Manuel Marquez is known as a counter-punching defensive oriented fighter, a style that could eventually do him in the third time around against Manny Pacquiao.

With Marquez looking to create his offense of counter punching, he is bound to catch his fair share of shots from Pacquiao, and could leave himself open for a devastating knockout blow from Pacquiao.

After experiencing Marquez's style in their first two fights, Pacquiao is a smarter fighter now and should be ready for Marquez this time and be more dominant the third time around.

The World Expects Pacquiao to Win

8 of 8

Manny Pacquiao is a people pleaser, and what better way to please his adoring fans than to put on an impressive performance against Juan Manuel Marquez, the one fighter that has given Pacquiao problems each time he has fought him.

If Pacquiao disposes of Manuel before the full 12-rounds go by, his fans will be in a frenzy, and Pacquiao mania will be in full effect once again.
