Fantasy Football Week 6 Rankings: Biggest Point Producers at Every Position
The true fantasy football stars will generally produce a multitude of points consistently, but some performances go beyond helping you into the realm of single-handedly winning your matchup.
In Week 6 of the NFL season, four players will stand above the rest, making fantasy owners giddy as they watch the points pile up on their gametrackers.
Here are the biggest fantasy producers at each offensive position for Week 6.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
QB: Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys
I know you are all just about fed up with Romo at this point in the season, but the truth is he has the ability to soar when it comes to fantasy football.
In terms of fantasy points per game, Romo is ranked eighth among quarterbacks (18.2), and he's coming off a 22-point performance against the Detroit Lions.
In Week 6, Romo faces the New England Patriots, who are giving up a league-worst 326 passing yards per game and have given up the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. The secondary is not only subpar, but Romo will also be throwing all day long to counter the points Tom Brady and co. put on the board.
RB: Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
This isn't really a surprise, but I expect Peterson to collect the most points in fantasy football among running backs in Week 6.
Peterson is not only the best running back in football, but he's also coming off a 30-point performance against the Arizona Cardinals, and he's facing a Chicago Bears rush-defense that is miles away from what it's been throughout the years.
The Bears are giving up a league-worst 5.7 yards per carry this season, and I expect the Vikings' pass-rush to hand the ball over to the offense continuously throughout the game.
This goes without saying, but start Peterson at all cost.
WR: Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers
Remember when Steve Smith dropped off last season, gaining only 554 yards and two touchdowns?
Well, that Steve Smith is gone; after the arrival of rookie quarterback Cam Newton, the veteran wideout has been on a roll.
Coming into Week 6, Smith already has more yards (609) and touchdowns (three) than he had all of last season, racking up the fourth-most fantasy points among wideouts.
On top of that, he faces the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6, a team that is allowing 294.2 passing yards per game and is allowing opposing quarterbacks to complete 68 percent of their passes as a whole.
The Falcons' "emerging" secondary that was there in 2010 has all but vanished, and Newton and Smith will capitalize.
TE: Jimmy Graham, New Orleans Saints
People had high hopes for second-year pro Jimmy Graham coming into 2011 given his late-season surge in 2010, but no one could have imagined this.
Through five weeks, Graham has the most points among tight ends in fantasy, and he's posted three straight 100-yard game (complete with two touchdowns).
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a solid secondary, but they've had trouble with tight ends, giving up the fifth-most fantasy points to them.
Graham will once again go off in Week 6, and those invested in him will be dancing by the end of the game.
